My family and I had a wonderful time at the chalet. It was calm, peaceful and a much needed break from the busyness of life. The house had everything we needed and the hostess was exceptional to work with.

The place was great! Beautiful views and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook. We felt right at home. Rooms were as the pictures showed.The only minor complaints are that the house is in a very remote area, with no internet or phone service along the last bit of roadway until you reach the house and the driveway is a bit narrow and better used w an SUV or truck. Although we made it to the house without incident.We would rent again as it was a great long weekend and the host was very informative.

Amazing view of the lake! Cabin was clean and check in was easy. Our host, Karen, provided very clear directions to get to the house.

Very peaceful stay. The provided firewood made for a lovely evening. The lake is beautiful from so high up. Check in was easy as could be.

Great little cabin over the lake. As advertised. Had a blast on the beautiful lake and cabin was just right for our little family hanging out on the deck, building fires, etc. Had breakfast twice at the best diner/general store about 15min away. Wonderfully secluded, but not painfully so. Would definitely book again

The house and surrounding area was so peaceful! We thoroughly enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake and exploring. We plan to book a long weekend in the summer when the water is warm enough to swim in!

The cabin was exactly what we needed. Close to Boone, close to the slopes but tucked nicely on the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit, some boat dock fishing and a little game night. What a great Christmas weekend!

House is named appropriately, private and relaxing. The private dock is spacious, we sat there and watched deer cross the property in the evening.
