The house was as described. Mike, the owner, was very nice to deal with and was eager to provide assistance to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Close to town and the river is just across the street.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The view out back couldn’t be beat, and the river was a ton of fun. We would definitely come back!

A Perfect Two Weeks on the Watauga -This beautiful river view home was the perfect setting for our two-week stay. My husband loved having exceptional fly fishing minutes from the door, I was able to work remotely with ease, and our two Labradors were in heaven with daily river and lakeside walks and swims. The home was comfortable, peaceful and thoughtfully equipped - we felt completely at home and were genuinely sorry to leave. An exceptional property that we would happily return to!

River House is in a great area. About a 20 minute drive to Bristol motor Speedway. Very spacious and comfortable. Large fenced in back yard is great for bringing along your favorite 4 legged friend. Proximity to the river is fantastic. It felt like being at home.

This is a great place for a guys fishing trip! Literally. 20 steps out of the front door to the river’s edge. Clear water, rainbow trout and life is good! The house was clean. Comfortable couches, lots of television options, plenty of room, nice fenced yard for the pup, great views, easy to find. Host responded to all correspondence in a timely fashion.

Great experience. Host was quick to respond and answer questions. The house was clean, cool, and comfortable when we arrived. We loved the patriotic decor. The view of the river at sunset was AMAZING! Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. We’d recommend this home to others.

This was such an amazing stay that we enjoyed with our friends. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need or want. I was very impressed.The communication from Mike was outstanding. He made sure that there was nothing missing in our trip and experience.We are so grateful for Mike’s hospitality and the beautiful home we stayed inMy son on the very last day, which was early morning, was able to finally catch a brown trout. It just made our trip even more memorable.

House was clean and exactly as it was described. The fenced in yard for our dog was wonderful. Bring fishing poles and go see the dams.Actually met the owner of the home one afternoon, had good conversations about the area.My home is a two story, it was so nice to have everything on one level.Would go back again.

Great place

Not only was the house amazing, but communication with the owner was amazing as well. We would definitely stay again if we are ever around the Johnson City area.
