Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Best part of this home is the covered deck right by the river; sounds of water flowing over rocks is music. Sun sparkling on water is beautiful. Comfortable bed, accessible bathroom & showers. Lovely place to stay!

What a memorable Journey this past week has been at Journeys End. Loved the peace and quiet, gurgling river sounds relieved all stress, coffee & wine on deck, weather was awesome. The people we met in Elizabethan were so kind. We will consider booking again. Thank you Diane & Rick!

Really enjoy staying here. This was our 2nd time. Only thing that sucked was the rain making fishing a little difficult but we still had plenty of adventures in the surrounding areas. Lots to do and see nearby but also plenty to see within an hours drive. Look forward to staying here again in a few years maybe.

AWESOME place to stay. Beautiful peaceful and warm place to stay. OWNERS are great and kind to deal with. EVERYTHING the add showed and more. The property was very clean and vrbo was good to deal with. We will definitely be back. If you book this wonderful place you will not be disappointed. Journeys End is a very relaxing stay. We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The location is very peaceful and relatively private with a small neighborhood in the area of the home, but the people in the neighborhood are also very friendly and are a pleasure to meet. The sound of the Doe River makes sleeping that much better.

This is the perfect mountain getaway. The back patio that overlooks the Doe River is magnificent. We spent every morning out back and ended each evening there also. The house is well-appointed, providing everything needed for a wonderful vacation and a restful and relaxing experience. Highly recommend this amazing place.

The location of this property is incredible. If you enjoy easy access to all the needs necessary to sustain yourself from a small town. Then branching out to explore the beauty of Watugua Lake, to trail riding your mountain e-bike this is the place to do it. Not to mention the serenity of the DoeRiver, which is your backyard all leads to wonderful experience. The communication with Richard and his wife Diane was excellent.

The house was amazing! The views were gorgeous and the house had every amenity we could have possibly wanted, including firewood. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!

We came to this area to attend the NASCAR Race at Bristol and had the opportunity of staying here.The listing is accurate as this house was perfect for our stay! The house was clean, well stocked and decorated so beautifully! It sits on the Doe river and we spent hours just enjoying the river and watching the wildlife. Very peaceful and serene.Thank you, Diane and Richard for a wonderful stay! We will definitely return in the future!
