Everyone loves our little Sunshine Cottage !! You won't find another place like this. Kinda small, not new...but you won't want to leave. It's a beach cottage off the beach...in a wooded setting surrounded by trees and green grass. House is about 3 miles from the beach, so close to everything. But you can leave the traffic behind. We have 4 homes in the neighborhood, and we've been honored with over 300 five star reviews. Fenced backyard for pups!! Sleeps 5, one queen , one full, and one twin beds. Completely furnished and ready for you. All bedding furnished , bring your towels. Everything else is here. Kitchen is fully equipped, with washer and dryer also. Sit on the screen porch and relax in tranquility.
Walk or bicycle to all kinds of places. Target, Books-a Million, multi-plex movies, a bunch of restaurants and shopping. All just about in your back yard. Tanger Outlet center and Foley just a few miles away to the north, Gulf Shores beach just 3 miles south...it's the perfect location. NOT a condo surrounded by crowds...A Home away from Home !

The Sunshine Cottage was perfect for our family and dog. Beautiful trees to shade us from summer sun. Screen porch to allow us to enjoy quiet morning or evening times. Convenient to grocery, restaurants. David let us know about the dog park at Shelby Lake and I highly recommend Gulf State Park for biking, hiking with less crowds.

Property was dog friendly. I think the front screen porch could be a little more reinforced so dogs can't push out the screen when they see a squirrel. Not far from Shelby dog lake ,beaches.and shopping. Very quiet area.Home had that beach vibe.Very inviting..Owners were very reachable no problems communicating .My dogs and I will be back.

Great getaway
Great location. Was at the beach everyday and watched dolphins and even seen stingrays. Rode bike on state park trail and enjoyed Big beach brewery.

We had a great week in the house! It was perfect for all 6 of us to stay! It was convenient and close to everything but far enough from it to relax when we wanted to!

Perfect for our needs
The little cottage was cute and cozy. It met all of our needs for this trip and we were super excited we could bring our elderly Yorkie with us. There's a perfect little fenced in back yard too. Target is just around the corner with a bunch of little ships right next to it.we had a great stay!

Dew & Dawn
This "Little Sunshine Cottage" was a perfect place for us to stay & have our dogs. The neighborhood was peaceful as well. The beach and shopping were not far to get to at all. We would definately recommend this property to most wanting to visit Gulf Shores, Alabama :)

Wonderful!
When you drive up, you see a cute little house. When you go in, you feel cozy and right at home! Owners provide everything you need right down to laundry detergent! Owners are very nice and came by to meet us. We loved staying here and will definitely be coming back!

Home Away From Home
My husband and I wanted to find a place that we could bring our Fur Kids with us and relax and this place did not disappoint.
The Sunshine cottage was a cozy little place that we could relax between beach visits and still feel like we were home.
I am so thankful for this wonderful couple and the time spent here. We will definitely be back!

We didn't actually stay at this particular house. The owner had another house come available at the last minute due to a cancellation and offered it to us. It's a larger and newer and in the same neighborhood.

Very good
I liked that it was close to about everthing we wanted to do. The owners were very courteous and checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. It was an easy process booking and leaving. The fenced in area for the dogs was very helpful. We also enjoyed the screened in porch.

Premium location with privacy.
My family and I came to town for a softball tournament and we stayed at this house. It was very cute and clean. They had beach items in the house for us to use which was very convenient! The host was great and accommodating. My daughter and her friends did not want to leave!! 10/10 recommend. Middle of nowhere privacy with beach, shopping and restaurants from 2-10 minutes away.

Perfect for what we needed
Booked this cute little cottage to have a cool place to stay when we weren’t at the baseball fields! It was perfect. Nice cool inside. Perfect room for kids and family of 5. Location was prime for us! So much to do near by. Loved the screened in porch to watch the rain and enjoy the outside without dealing with bugs. Had a few soft spots throughout the house but is to be expected with and older house. We loved that we picked a place away from the beach! Thanks David and Sheryl!

When this property popped up for sale a couple of years ago we were surprised and exited. This house was my first home here. I rented it to live in when I first moved to Gulf Shores in 1983. I lived here when my wife and I first met. After we were married I moved on... but we never forgot about the little house on Franz St. Now we have 4 homes in the neighborhood, all vacation rentals, with 100's of 5 star reviews. We clean and maintain them ourselves. We live a few miles away in Elberta, and will be readily available if you should need us...Thanks !!

This little neighborhood is absolutely the best location in town ! I lived in this house years ago way before there were such conveniences so close. It was ideal then and even better now. We have good memories of this place from years ago. The neighborhood is settled, quiet, all nice folks. We were so glad when we found it available, and we are especially glad to share it with you !!
