Walk to the beach! Pet friendly cottage/beach on Fort Morgan Peninsula.

Located on a quiet street on a private wooded lot just a block off the beach!! Easy walk to the beach with neighborhood beach access! Beach is pet friendly (dogs must be kept on a leash). This comfortable cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa for accommodating extra guests. The kitchen has granite countertops, all major appliances, and is stocked with basic utensils/kitchenware needed to prepare a meal. There is an office nook with a desk. Spacious, wrap-around, outdoor deck for sunbathing and relaxing. There is a convenient, outside shower for use after the beach.
Enjoy the beach and coastal area with a more relaxed pace at this property on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. Yet, still so much close by! Fort Morgan State Historic Site approximately 7 miles away. Fort Morgan Public Boat Launch is 4 miles away. Several local restaurants and golf course within 3 miles. Still an easy drive to other popular destinations in this area including Tanger Outlets, The Wharf in Orange Beach, The Park at OWA, The Track, Gulf State Park, Waterville, USA, etc!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.

* Amenities include free WiFi, 1 smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, and outdoor deck.

* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.

* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized shampoo, and soap per bathroom.

* Check-in is 4 p.m. or later. (if early check in is available fee applies)

Older property, but clean and dog-friendly. The gated porch was great for our dog, and it’s an easy walk to the dog-friendly beach. There’s no ocean view, but you can hear the ocean from the porch. We would have rated it higher, but there was a noticeable odor in the house. We purchased some air freshener, which helped.

Short walk to the beach. Nicely stocked with kitchen items, linens and towels. Love the quiet neighborhood and that there's no public beach access near the neighborhood so the beach was never crowded.

We went for our 25th anniversary and it could not have went better. Short walk to beach and so much privacy. We will definitely be back.

This beach house was just perfect for us! It was the ideal size for a couple, and we loved that it was dog friendly. The outdoor shower and hose was super convenient. Being so close to the beach and hearing the waves at all times from the deck really made the trip. Would recommend! Stay here for a cozy trip to Fort Morgan!

Location is great - less than a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. The beach is nice and wasn’t crowded even on the weekend. The house had a decent amount of privacy, unlike some other neighborhoods (like rookery for example). The outdoor shower was cool with lots of warm water. Kitchen had everything. Deck was great for watching the sky and listening to the waves. I wish the fold out couch was more comfortable, and the house smelled like mothballs. The smell didn’t bother me much after the first day. Overall I loved the house and the host made things easy.

We absolutely loved this rental! It was very clean and inviting. The outdoor shower was amazing, on top of the huge deck to watch the sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking an easy process. The host was super nice and communicative. We even stayed an additional day because we loved it so much!
