Plenty of outdoor activities await: Enjoy spectacular ocean sunrises from the front decks, and the gorgeous sunsets from the back. Let the kids play on the playground or have a family volleyball game in the fenced back yard. Lounge by the private pool, play a game of outdoor ping pong, or unwind in the hot tub.

Inside, hone your pool skills in the newly renovated downstairs game room, spend family time in the spacious great room, or take some private time in one of 7 the generously sized bedrooms.

And don’t forget about the beach! Easy access to the beautiful, guarded beach at Chicahauk Trail is only 700 feet away!

THE BEACH HOUSE makes it easy to gather together with its large, open kitchen, 10 seat dining table, and breakfast bar all located right along with the great room. Enjoy the panoramic ocean view while you have a great family dinner, then head out on the deck to enjoy the night sky without the glow of the big city.

When it’s time to call it a night, there is more than enough room for everyone. With sleeping accommodations for 16 people, and 5 Master suites, everyone has a place of their own to unwind and re-energize for the next day’s adventures.

As part of the Southern Shores community during your stay, you’ll have access to tennis courts, marina, community-only parking at beach access points and playgrounds for the kids. Paved sidewalks wind throughout the community as well.

All the best of the Outer Banks is within a stone's throw from THE BEACH HOUSE. Gourmet dining and boutique shopping in Duck, history at the Wright Brothers’ Memorial in Kitty Hawk, or flying kites at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head…there is something for everyone.

Great location.

We had a great stay. The house is about a 1 minute walk to the beach. The house had all the amenities you could ask for. There was lots of space and the backyard and pool are great for days you decide not to go to the beach. There is lots of space so you and your guests are not all over each other. The only thing I would change is that the bathrooms need updating or to be cleaned better. It is also on a main road but that didn’t present any problems.

The Beach House

The Beach House Reilly Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 th trip to this beach house! We feel at home every time. My only issue was that the office knew 2 things were inoperable upon checkin & we were not informed. It would not have changed anything, but we spent 10 minutes trying to figure out if the elevator doors were all closed and why it wasn’t operating and then the children were very upset about the Pac-Man machine not working. If we had known we would not have wasted that time or called you guys to get that information that you could’ve passed to us upon check-in. The house is beautifully decorated and accommodates her family perfectly. God was good and gave us perfect weather for a week. The pool with pristine and Clean, as was the hot tub. I think my only suggestion would be if it would be possible to have more silverware. As we were unable to finish dinner and dessert, and have enough forks and spoons. We will be running again next year and we appreciate how well you guys upkeep this property.

Our First Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: SS93 was a beautiful and spacious for our family of 16. The layout was perfect and allowed everyone private space. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings gorgeous! The backyard was perfect for games and play room for the kids. The fencing was appreciated, with a second fence around the pool area. Our little ones could not get in without adults present, which was great! Unfortunately, the two closest beach access points closest to us were closed due to construction, but that was just poor timing. Also, the pool heat was not operable until the end of our vacation. However, you did give it your attention and a refund was issued. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish working with your company. You were so kind answering my many questions (first time I had done this in quite some time) and always pleasant. Thank you so much, we had a very nice, memorable trip!
