We had a great stay. The house is perfect for a large group. The pool is huge! The house is just across from the walkway to the wide, uncrowded beach. Jeremy is an excellent host and was very helpful in communicating with us before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend!

39 Surfside Dr. Bethany Beach, De

Beautiful home with many amenities to accommodate a crowd! We had 16 people intermittently throughout the week. As the “chief cook”, I was impressed with the multiple sets of silver ware, dishes, casseroles, pots and pans for a crowd, etc. The game room came in handy as the first four days were rainy. The heated pool was a necessity, since four of our grandkids were 3 and under. The elevator was a real bonus. We didn’t use it often, but by the end of the day, it was great to have. I highly recommend this home!

great spot for extended family

Great location. Pool is awesome. Very non-crowded beach, so that was wonderful. House was in good shape, already re-booked for next year

Wonderful week!

The house is very well equipped - multiple fridges, multiple washers/dryers. Super conducive to a large group. Location/walk to the beach is SO quick and close. Pool was heated and delightful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family house

We all had a great time very big house lots of room. The toddlers loved the pool. And we all loved that we were so close to the ocean. I really recommend this house for a large family or lots of friends. Jeremy the owner was great very helpful when I needed it thanks again

Huge home perfect for a family vacation

This house was magical for our family. There is enough room to spread out, and an amazing kitchen/dining room for when we are all together! We spend time in the pool, beach, or nearby shopping. It is a cooks kitchen— every type of pot/pan/utensil/gadget you could want. We are thrillled to spend time here each summer

What a fantastic beach house! It had everything we needed. The pool was a wonderful treat after being on the beach all day. My only suggestion would be to have some plastic cups for the pool area. There was so much room for everyone. Looking forward to next year all ready. The week flew by.

Week of 8/13/23

This is our 3rd summer at this house and we really enjoy it. We already have it reserved for July 2024. We bring our children, grand children and a few in laws to this property. It has tremendous square footage so we can all spread out and not be on top of each other. The backyard pool is also a blessing as we jump in there after a full day on the beach. We hope to come back here for many years to come.

50th Anniversary celebration

Our stay was a wonderful experience. This home easily accommodated our multi-aged group giving areas of privacy and quiet and room for joyous celebrations. The pool table, foosball and pool were in constant use. The multiple industrial refrigerators, utensils, and dishes were perfect for handling all the food necessary to feed our crowd. The ice-maker was a major plus, In constant use and able to keep up with demand. The home felt like a palace but not so luxurious that we were uncomfortable using it. A great beach home, just close enough to the beach. We appreciated the pool maintenance. Thank you for making this a very memorable week..

Great place!

This house is fantastic! Has everything one could want in a vacay rental. Manager is responsive to any issues that come up. My one issue is the next door neighbor. My extended family were on the pool deck playing dominoes with the Beatles on speaker. The neighbor starts screaming out her window about quiet hours (it was after10) and told yelled telling us to GO INSIDE! We offered to turn off the music, she continued yelling, called the owner and Jeremy the next day to remind us. Owner and Jeremy handled it as best they could. So while this was a fantastic home with a great property manager and a gracious owner, I cannot recommend a large family Beachweek unless you’re ok, or at least indifferent to verbal abuse (she didn’t even try, as I would’ve, to ask nicely).

Incredible Location, Property Needs Maintenance

Our vacation rental had a fantastic location, just steps from the beach, with a large, private pool and plenty of space, making it ideal for a family getaway. The property offers great accommodations for a group, with ample beds and easy beach access. However, we encountered several issues that dampened our experience. The kitchen was dirty upon arrival—crumbs on the counter, grease on the stove, sand on the floor, and even a large urine stain on one of the mattresses. The space needs updating and better maintenance, with damaged walls, burnt-out light bulbs, a broken shower, and a malfunctioning pull-out sofa. There’s only one smart TV in the basement theater, and it didn’t work, plus no kids' DVDs were provided. Despite reporting these problems on check-in and the following day, the owner, Steve, was dismissive, citing end-of-season wear and tear. While the location and pool are great, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep makes us hesitant to rent here again.

We loved the house. It had everything thing that was important to us. Handicap assessable. Accommodations were great. We loved the pool. The beds were comfortable. The manager Jeremy was always a phone call away & handled any problems quickly. The house cleaners need to do a better job.

Family Fun

My family has been going to Bethany Beach for years! This was, by far, the best house we have ever been able to rent. It is steps from the beach, there is plenty of room for large families to gather, the house is stocked with everything you’d need and the pool was a plus! The owner was very responsive, available and helpful to ensure that our stay was safe and enjoyable. We did not want to leave and are hoping to return next year.

Great Family Vaca

This house is a great location for a large family. Plenty of space to share and have alone time too. Pool was perfect with its steamroom in poolhouse. The billiards/ bar area was great for both teenagers and adults. We had ukelele concerts in this room as well as poolside, with all joining in. My 14 year old grandson even joined in with his sax, and one of my son in laws with his mini keyboard! The movie room was terrific for a family night of popcorn and a movie. The teens enjoyed playing video games there when they were not on the beach. We brought bikes and enjoyed an easy ride into town and across the highway on a nature preserve. There was plenty of space for our marathon mystery puzzle contests. The kitchen is the best equipped that we have had in 8 years of family beach rentals. Our family loves to cook, with each family taking turns for a memorable meal. Once we got used to the elevator, it became essential for my husband and I to access the 4th floor suite. Very helpful since we are in our 70's and my husband is scheduled for hip surgery later this summer. Highly recommend for large families. Only criticism is to have someone organize the kitchen cupboards and closets. Perhaps with labels so we know where to put things back! Thanks for the memories!

Family beach time

This rental was clean, spacious, and equipped with a well stocked kitchen. Besides the great beach access, there was something for everyone! Older grandparents used the elevator and kids loved the pool and game room.

Not clean

We chose this location because of the size and location. The house is beautiful- a little outdated but that was fine. However, the conditions were very poor upon arrival. There was a whole load of laundry in the laundry machine that was dirty and not ours, dust, sand in the tubs, blood stains on the pillows and sheets, things on the wall that looked like dried boogers, fruit flies everywhere, dirt in the fridge, food and beverages left in the fridge, and I could go on. We were shocked that it looked like a cleaning person didn’t even come through, despite paying a cleaning fee and a large rental fee. Otherwise, there was obvious construction/work being done to the house, as large unopened packages sat throughout the house, there were different colors of paint on the outside and broken pieces of the deck that were “taped”. We really were looking forward to this stay, and still managed to have a good time, but we’re just overall disappointed.

Three generational family vacation.

The house had a lot of space so we could spread everybody out. The pool area and pool house were huge bonuses on a house that was already very roomy. We have booked it for next year already.
