Thank you for allowing us to host your beachside stay Dawn! We appreciate you noting the bed comfortability, plush towels and setup. However, we're so sorry to hear the floors were not up to par. We gladly would have sent our housekeepers back had we known. We take clean seriously. We will make sure to address the towel holder. They seem to take a beating for some reason. As for the internet service, not sure what all happened but AT&T was contacted, our apologies. We hope you enjoyed your holiday time otherwise. Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Roger, and sorry your didn't enjoy the adventures of island living more. During your stay, we experienced Tropical Storm Arthur, which brought high winds, heavy rain, elevated tides, and all the extra adventure that Gulf-front living can sometimes deliver. Coastal homes work hard against salt air, humidity, storms, and blowing sand year-round, and while we continuously maintain and improve our properties, Mother Nature occasionally leaves her fingerprints behind. As noted in the listing, this location sits directly on the Gulf with beautiful views, but swimming beach access is located a short distance away in the neighborhood. Many guests enjoy the quieter shoreline in front of the home for walks, surf watching, fishing, and wildlife spotting, while heading to the main beach access areas for swimming and beach days. Like all coastal properties in our region, we also maintain regular professional pest control service, though an occasional visitor can still find its way indoors, especially during periods of heavy rain and storms. We understand that every property is not the perfect fit for every traveler, but we appreciate you giving our little slice of island life a try and wish you safe travels on your future adventures.

It really is a perfect location, we agree! Thank you for noting the cleanliness and communication! As for the home needing a power wash, we will certainly pass that feedback along to the owner. It is tough with the high winds, humidity, sand and salt in this location to keep things without a coat of these elements. It's quite the battle. As for the dishwasher, it just requires the switch (light looking type) to power the dishwasher, as it was per code previously. Believe the switch is labeled, or at least it was, but we will confirm it still there.
