Special Parisian Apartment

Terrific apartment for a Parisian holiday. Great location near subways, but also within walking distance to Hotel de Ville, in a very walkable neighborhood with numerous cafes and bakeries. The accuracy of the listing stands out, and our host was thoughtful, available and made us feel very welcome.

A Wonderful Week In Paris

Excellent location in Paris

We stayed for 10 days at Rue de Temple and enjoyed our apartment very much. The apartment is actually bigger than it shows in the pictures, which was a bonus. Andrea, our host greeted us for check-in and was very responsive to any questions we had. The apartment is well stocked if you want to cook on your own; however, there are so many fabulous bistros in the area, we ate out quite a bit. We were also close to the many metro stations so we were able to get around Paris easily. I would highly recommend this apartment if you're planning on visiting Paris. It is located in a thriving area with lots of shops, bistros, bakeries, grocery stores and metro stations. We also felt very safe walking in the area even after dark.

Un québécois enchanté

Sans hésitation, je classe cet appart "top 5 étoiles" pour : qualité de l'appart, propreté, équipement, emplacement. Nous étions à quelques mètres de 2 stations de métro. Bref tout était parfait et en prime nous avons été accueillis par Andréa, un hôte extraordinaire qui a été de bons conseils à notre arrivée qui s'est poursuivi tout au long de notre séjour.

Amazing apartment in le Marais

This was the perfect apartment to stay with my family! The location was ideal for shopping and walking around the Marais as well as very close to metro stops to travel around the city. Andrea was extremely communicative and responded very quickly. Would recommend staying at this apartment

Wonderful Apartment in a Great Area!!!

The property was perfect for our group of 4. The two beds were comfortable, the pullout bed was ok, and the location was fafntastic! Getting around was easy. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Seine and close to the underground metro. The hosts were amazing every step of the way, even giving us instructions on how to get from the airport before we arrived. They were very responsive to our needs. The apartment was well stocked with towels and pantry items. Best of all was the bakery across the street with the best almond croissants one could imagine!!!! We all appreciated the great location, apartment and hosts.

Great apartment in a wonderful location for sightseeing in Paris with a lot of excellent dining and nightlife choices nearby. Host was extremely helpful and supplied us with fans since we had many hot days during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Host, Great Location

We loved staying at Andrea’s flat! He was a fantastic and accommodating host and the location of this flat can’t be beat! There was plenty of room for me and my two siblings and another guest or two would have been accommodated depending on your sleeping needs - great for a small family or group of close friends. All the basic linens were available including some cleaning supplies for the kitchen and washer/dryer. The four large windows across the wall let in plenty of sunlight and natural air - there’s a portable AC and fan as well that easily cooled the whole apartment during our stay. The location is immediate access to anything you may need for your stay - great shops and restaurants! We will definitely consider this apartment again if we return to Paris.

Die Reise und der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral.

Durch die zentrale Lage sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu Erreichen, für weiter entfernte Ziele ist eine Metrostation mit mehreren U-Bahnen in kurzer Entfernung vorhanden. Problematisch ist die Dreierbeziehung Fewo-Direkt > Thierry (Makler??) > Vermieter. Thierry hatte immer wieder für Verwirrung gesorgt bezüglich Bezahlung, Apartment-Adresse und Aufenthaltesdauer. Diese Themen konnten dann durch Fewo, bzw. dem Vermieter direkt geklärt werden, führte aber immer wieder zu Verunsicherung.

Excellent choice!

We were very, very pleased with this apartment. The photos current at the time of this review appear dark, but the apartment has windows all down one wall and is actually full of light. Very comfortable. Good, relatively firm mattresses and a great shower. Well equipped with everything we needed. Close to grocery store, market, and restaurants. The host is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!

Quiet Marais

We had a very comfortable stay at the apartment. Andrea our host met us and went through everything in the apartment. When the weather turned cold Andrea checked to see if we were comfortable. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. We were able to walk to most things in Paris. Wonderful stay in the Marais. Thank you.

Excellent Property

We stayed in Paris for over a week. The apartment was a lovely apartment in the 3rd Arr; quiet with lovely windows and comfortable beds. Host was very responsive and helpful (recommended a local bakery that we ended up frequenting just about every day..delicious!). Also, this building had an elevator which was a blessing after a long day of walking around Paris! Would recommend this property to others.

December in the Haut Marais

Luminous, airy, calm, quiet, spankingly clean, beautifully thought out, and lovely space. Andrea is the perfect host: available, thoughtful, respectful, immediately responsive. (Ex: When we noted that the electric kettle wasn’t working, he replaced it right away with a new one.) Lovely location - easy walk to sites (and transportation) and at enough of a distance to the overrun part of the Marais. Thank you, Andrea. A pleasure and a treasure.

The apartment is wonderful, exactly as described and as in the photos. Great location, quiet and spacious. close to markets, restaurants, bakeries and subway. I would definitely go back, it's really worth it.

Spacious cozy apartment in the heart of Marais

My partner and I loved all the room we had to spread out and relax. All the amenities worked perfectly and the apt stayed warm and cozy despite the rainy, winter chill. Andrea and Licia were so sweet and accommodating, they lent us an umbrella during our stay and periodically checked in on us. The location is unbeatable for the price, would stay here again!

Spacious but needs cleaning!

The doors off the street open to a large courtyard surrounded by old buildings. The apartment has big windows that overlook the courtyard. It’s quiet and safe at night. The apartment is spacious with 2 queen beds. One in the bedroom, the other behind the orange wall. Both mattresses were clean (no bedbugs!) and comfortable. Pillows were not great. The owner lives in the apartment next door and is super nice and helpful. We liked him a lot. However: the whole place needs a thorough professional cleaning and updating. I cleaned the black and pink grout in the shower with our sanitizing wipes. The garbage can in the kitchen is gross. The shelves in the kitchen are sticky with old products from former renters. The furniture isn’t comfortable. The voluminous curtains over the windows and around the one bed are dust magnets. The good thing is being able to spread out and location is pretty good.

Enjoyable stay

Andrea was a great host, from helping us get access on arrival and later showing us how to operate the washing machine. Location was great. There was a bakery across the street, a big Monoprix a few blocks away and smaller grocery stores around the corner. The elevator worked fine, the apartment was very quiet at night and secure.

Great home base

I was there with an old friend and this Temple Apartment was a perfect base for our 3 days of touring around Paris. We enjoyed exploring our own Marais neighborhood but we also found it easy to get to the walkway along the Seine to discover more neighborhoods. Andrea was more than gracious and helpful. It was warmer than usual while we were there. We had one fan, but Andrea responded promptly when we requested a 2nd fan. He also was very patient while I figured out the locks and codes needed to get through the gates! We didn’t really use the kitchen but it was well appointed. I would stay there again.

Great apartment, great host

We had a lovely time staying at the Rue de Temple apartment in late August, early September. Andrea met us at the apartment upon arrival and told us about the apartment and the neighborhood, which was quite helpful. He was very responsive to our needs. It was very useful to have a full kitchen which allowed us to have breakfast every morning before we headed out. The location was fabulous, a short walk to the Pompidou Center, the Picasso museum, and the heart of the Marais. After a long day of walking through the Louvre, Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame, coming "home" to the elevator instead of flights of stairs was a delight. Thank you!

Rue du Temple

This apartment is very well supplied with amenities. It is light and airy, with large windows that open onto a courtyard. The owner is attentive and quite helpful. It's an excellent place to stay. In my ratings, I gave the accuracy of the listing only two stars because the VRBO page gave the impression that the property is in the Saint Gervais district near rue de Rivoli. In fact, it is on rue du Temple in a quiet wholesale district. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Great Place in Great Location

*TEMPLE Review* You may see reviews for another apartment on Rue du Rivoli under this listing. This is a review for the apartment on Rue du Temple. The apartment was perfect for us and felt huge after staying in a hotel room. Our two kids were able to have separate beds (one behind curtains and one pull-out couch) and my wife and I had a bit of privacy in the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week including a washer/dryer, range, microwave, refrigerator, and dish washer. The table for meals is large enough to seat 6 comfortably and possibly more. The bathroom is spacious. The apartment has a nice view of an interior courtyard from 4 large windows, and is very quiet. There is a nice bakery across the street. It's within a few minutes walk to a couple metro stops, Enfants Rouges, cafes, a grocery store, and a small park. Even though we were out very late a few times, including on Bastille Day, we never felt concerned for our safety in this neighborhood. You have to pass through a door and two gates, then go to the top floor, where the owner has the only other apartment on the floor, so it feels very secure. Thierry and Andrea were both easy to communicate with for the booking and questions about how to operate things in the apartment.

Appartement idéal pour visiter Paris

L’appartement était parfait pour nous. Une famille de 4. L’emplacement est idéalement situé. Près de différentes lignes de métro. Tout est à proximité. Vie de quartier autour. Au 5e étage avec ascenseur. L’accueil avec Andréa était super facile. Il nous a permis d’arriver un peu plus tôt. On hésite pas à le recommander et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.
