Great Stay in Playa

The location of the property is fantastic...near the heart of fifth avenue, but just far enough off of it to avoid most of the noise. The property is meticulously maintained, and the host does everything possible to ensure an enjoyable stay. The unit itself is well equipped and maintained. The host has people on site to address any needs that might arise. I can and do highly recommend a stay here.

Great Place, would recommend to everyone

Fantastic location, fantastic building, great onsite staff who are extremely helpful. There is parking for a rental car. The building is far enough away from 5th Ave. so noise isn’t a problem. I would absolutely come back to this apartment and recommend to all.

Oceanfront getaway

Beautiful place, close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door would bring food and beverages to us when we were on the beach. Only thing we didn’t like was a group that had five children in total, they took over the pool area and were very loud. We spent those days on the beach. Once they left, it was absolutely much more relaxing, and quieter. We would love to stay here, but maybe a different time.

Location, location, location

The location is amazing and right on the beach. It has a shared pool which overlooks the ocean. They do pickup the beach chairs fairly early I feel like (around 4ish). Just so you know you are super close to 5th Avenue and it gets loud at night with music and it is every night (at least when we visited around Easter). We use a sound machine but you could still hear it. Take some earplugs. The staff is very good at taking care of the place. We walked to Walmart a few times, Benito Juarez Avenue to eat, and there is a fruit stand located at Centro, 77710 Playa del Carmen which has fruit you can purchase or they have already cut up fruit that they will add yogurt, granola, and honey onto and it is so good. It is walking distance from the room. Also Ay Taco (Calle 8) is walking distance from this room and at the plaza near there every weekend they have vendors selling food and handmade items. The kids love the playground there also. Don’t miss La Espiga Panadería Centro which is roughly a 5 minute walk from the room. You can probably literally walk just about anywhere from this room. No shortage of food options, coffee, gelato, drinks. Amorino gelato is amazing. We even walked to Calle 38 which was a good trek from the room but still doable. The driver he recommends was able to help us out. You need to email with him just so you know. He can get someone to get you anywhere. A very safe area to stay and walk around. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location

Amazing location, you feel like ur on ur own mini resort. The beach club and restaurant next door comes by occasionally to get u food and drinks so you really get the resort vibe. loved that theres a washer and dryer. The location on 5th avenue is very convenient. AC in all the rooms work great. Staff and property manager are so welcoming and nice. The 24/7 security is a must and they have it!

Property was lovely and very secure. Everyone from the security, management and beach/pool attendant were extremely helpful and friendly. Great location with a great beach/ocean view and one block from 5th Avenue ( the main walking street).

The property is amazing, however the demo construction across the street went on all night from 2 AM - 5 AM … that needs to stop!

Excellent location, well appointed condo unit

Stayed here from nov 2-11. We booked this unit last minute and condo owner Joseph was very quick to respond and get things organized for us to stay on such short notice. The location is amazing. Was just what we wanted right off the ocean. Very nice beach area right out front with some great Rock tide pools for kids to play in and look for sea critters. Water was warm and the ocean floor quite sandy to walk right into. Minimal seaweed during our stay. Even had a nice fellow that puts out beach chairs and umbrellas just for the condo on the beach. Will bring you food from restaurants and get you discounts on massages from next door. Nice perk. Infinity pool was amazing. Heated and very nice to swim and hang out in and literally be right off the beach. The unit itself is in a very nice spot in the building, right in the middle set back a bit on 2nd floor so you don’t get as much noise as the outside units would. Very loud beach club music on either side of complex. We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped into unit, very spacious and welcoming space for family of 5. Master bed was comfy. Other 2 beds were pretty hard but ok for kids. Was nice to have them provide continual bottled water jugs and never had shortage of toilet paper. Came to empty our garbages more often because they knew we had a baby. The staff at the condo were very helpful. Were there upon checkin and available quickly upon text if anything was needed. Had some issues with washing machine not working but they gave us access to another condo unit to do Laundry. Our dishwasher was out of commission the entire time so hopefully they will look to replace that soon. Was just a short half block walk to get onto 5th ave and less than 10 minute walk to access pier for ferry to Cozumel. We did most grocery shopping at Walmart and Mega which was about 15 minute walk with the family. Would definitely recommend staying here

Lovely place

Great location, right on the beach and very close to restaurants and shops, but still intimate, secure and relatively quiet. The property manager met us early on and helped with any needs and concerns. The on-site staff was also very courteous and helpful.

Amazing Vacation

We were very impressed when we arrived at our condo on 12/24! The location is perfect (one block from 5th Ave, 5 minute walk to the ferry going to Cozumel, and right on the ocean)! The pictures were exactly as shown, staff were very friendly, and the complex is very safe and secure. The owner has a transportation contact, so you can get picked up from the airport ($70 each way), and they'll stop at a grocery store on the way to the condo. They also arrange rides to anywhere you'd like to go (they took us to Tulum for $150 round trip, but we were gone about 5 hours, and he stopped at his favorite taco stand and waited for us to eat, and stopped at a grocery store. Once you book, the owner is very responsive and sends you all of the information you need for your stay, including the name of the property manager in the event you want to ask questions, get recommendations, etc before you arrive. We had 7 adults (mom/dad + 5 adult kids) in this 2 bedroom condo, and it worked out just fine (one person slept on the pull-out in the living room). The kitchen has every necessity to cook all meals there, plus 5-gallon water canisters. The master bedroom has a patio door going out to the balcony. The balcony is spacious with a nice big table/chairs, so you can sit and look at the ocean, play games, etc. The beach is a public beach, but we had absolutely no issues (no possible way to get up into the condo area and pool as there are gates that have a code to get in/out). There is staff on the beach to put out chairs and umbrellas for you, and there are restaurants to each side of the beach where you can order food and drinks. The only negative (slight) to the beach was right directly in front the water is a bit rocky, but literally to each side of that section it was sandy (the beach has amazing sand). We loved it so much we actually thought about purchasing a condo for our own use and investment! Thank you, Joseph!

So relaxing, came back a second time!

This 2 bedroom condo is stunning! It's a 5-star condo, on the beach, in downtown Playa, close to all the action. The swimming pool is delightful and pushes right up to the beach. You can literally stand at the end of the pool and overlook the beach at the beach. The condo has a full kitchen and a washer dryer. You will love this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The majority of the other guests were return visitors as well who were so helpful with requests on where to eat and where to go, so friendly. The staff here will also be missed. What a great group of people! We had a fantastic time. This condo is perfect. Perfect location, perfect size, no complaints! We definitely plan on returning. The condo is a home away from home. I wish I could go back already... Thank you so much for having us...

Great condo, great location, great vacation.

The condo was amazing. Location, location, location! It’s at the beach and only 1/2 a block from the 5th Avenue action. The beach has beautiful soft sand. Seaweed was plentiful. The Luna beach attendant set up loungers, umbrellas and tables wherever we wanted and the beach bars on either side compete for business serving drinks and food. Super nice for hanging at the beach. The condo is spacious and has a great view of the beachfront pool overlooking the Caribbean sea. Master bedroom views the sea and is huge. The kitchen is nicely appointed. The barbeque worked well. There was an issue with an air-conditioner. We told Edith and she arranged for repair after which it worked great. Painters were a bit noisy during the day grinding steel railings. None of the three DVD players worked. Edith replaced one however it was of poor quality and could only produce black and white. Edith was attentive and very helpful, she even helped us out with ordering pizza for delivery one night. The cleaners did a great job and made cute towel figures. Security was polite and would open the gate for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the condo for a great getaway that feels like a home away from home.

Stunning! Fabulous downtown beach location. Gorgeous view of pool & beach!

5-Stars! Away from noisy 5th Avenue. Pool and beach are terrific. Marble floored 2 bedroom unit is stunning! Underground parking available, too. Security guard at front door and often on the beach. Safes in both rooms. King in master. 2 double beds in second bedroom. I love this place!

Amazing place to stay!

My boyfriend and I went to Playa for a nice Mexican vacation! Joe the owner and Edith the onsite property manager were both great hosts and very willing to help with all of our needs. The condo was very warm and inviting, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our weekend get away! Being steps away from the beach, we enjoyed most of our time there as well as many nearby restaurants that did not disappoint! We will definitely recommend this place to friends and be back ourselves in the near future!

Can’t Wait to Go Back!!! I went to Playa with my wife and 2 year old. The condo had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated and huge views of the ocean. Joe, the owner and Edith the onsite property manager were great and not only answered all our questions but gave great tips on restaurants and things to do. Luna is centrally located and you are literally a few steps away from everything you can want. The beach f is right out your door and 5th Avenue is on the backside of the building. The kitchen had all the appliances and kitchen ware you could hope for. It also had all the amenities, shampoo, lotions, laundry detergent, lots of towels, hair dryers and even coffee packets for our 1st morning. We are already planning are next stay!
