We had a family reunion and there were 12 people in the home. We never felt crowded and had plenty of room to either relax alone or hang out together. The A/C worked great and the house stayed cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The house was very clean and well designed, especially with bathrooms and kitchens upstairs and downstairs. The deck/pier was a family favorite and the view was gorgeous! The neighborhood was also nice and quiet, and the location was convenient. The only thing we wished for safety reasons (because we had elderly/senior citizens with us) - bathroom hand bars to assist someone in and out of the tub or shower.

Riverlodge is a big house! Actually two houses; we rented both upper and lower, unaware that there are no inside steps. Access is up and down the outside porch stairs. That being said, it wasn’t too inconvenient though. The kitchens are well stocked. A couple of the queen beds need better supports because they sag. The backyard is flooded every high tide. We could still navigate around the edge to access the dock, which was a big focus of our week. We brought kayaks, but you can’t access the water from the property. The house was spotless! Plenty of gathering space on the lower level in the kitchen/dining/living area! We started every morning on the beautiful back porch watching the tides change over! Beautiful vacation home in a quiet area of the island!

Beautiful house with a nice dock and great water views!

Lots of room in this house! The house has great views from the back deck and dock! The property management team is very quick to respond to any questions or accommodations!

Great house for large family gathering

Super house for family Thanksgiving gathering. Charming, older home, kept up well. Beautiful sunsets over the Intercoastal. Would highly recommend.

Nice spot

Good for two families. Good communication with managers. Well stocked. Needs some updates to dock and porch furniture.

Family vacation

Nice place, great location. Good fishing from private dock. Only issues were that to access the second floor you had to go outside, and that most doors, including some bathrooms and bedrooms did not lock and/or were only half doors. “ Think saloon doors. “ Also refrigerator on main floor is totally rusted on outside. It worked fine but gave a bad first impression when getting to house. A good coat of white appliance paint would work wonders. Otherwise house was great. Plenty of room for our family of 13. We rented bikes and we were within a 5-10 min ride to practically anything we wanted, would stay there again!!

Beautiful house on the water

This house was great as a base for our trip to Savannah and Tybee Island. We were in agreement that is was better than being on the larger beachside of the island mainly due to it’s quieter neighborhood and having a dock. It is only a couple houses from beach access which runs along the inlet to the ocean. We loved walking this in the morning and sitting on the dock in the evenings. The house was beautiful and well appointed. Communication was great and it was convenient to everything.

Nice rental for large family

This property was clean and comfortable. Check in process was easy (lock box). It worked well for our large extended family. (Sadly the pool was not heated as advertised as they were waiting for a part.) Overall nice stay and we would return.
