Enjoy the huge southern porch. Grab your sweet tea, Relax with Your Best Friend!

We are located on the lower side of Missionary Ridge. The battle of Missionary Ridge was fought here on Nov. 26, 1863. The Confederates camped in the very spot where this house was built in 2016. It is a one story house. We are pet friendly and have a nice Fenced in yard for up to two dogs with a pet fee. My insurance does not allow pitbulls, chows or dobermans or any mixes with these breeds. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room with a washer and dryer in the kitchen. Comfy furniture and soft beds for your sleeping pleasure. Downtown Chattanooga is only 2 miles away. Across the street we have Shuffleboard, Horse Shoes, Picnic table with a grill. The garden on the next tear up was on the Hamilton County Master Gardener's Show in 2013. Walk through the garden, enjoy the views of Chattanooga, and sit down by the Mermaid Fountain with goldfish, and let your worries disappear.

The host was very accommodating and the house was very clean. It was well equipped. It even had toys for the grands. I will definitely book this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was the cleanest, best stocked place we have stayed. Centrally located to major highways made getting around easy and the fenced yard was perfect for the pups. We look forward to coming back to Chattanooga and would definitely rent from Tammy again.

Great house; had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Rooms were big and cheerful. Kitchen was well stocked. Garden was beautiful. The location was convenient to downtown, Ruby Falls and Rock City. The owner, Tammy, responded quickly to my questions via the website and came to introduce herself when we got to the house. I would definitely recommend this beautiful house!

This was the perfect location to everything Chattanooga! Our family loved being able to relax after a long day of play. Tammy was so nice and responded quickly as needed. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home.

Location was very convenient, close to both downtown and lookout mountain. Clean and well stocked with a couple lovely welcome treats from the owner. The host was communicative and very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Exceptionally clean house. Well appointed. We used all three bedrooms and everyone said their mattresses were super comfortable. Some of the softest sheets that I've ever slept on! The host did drop by to say hello - very nice and friendly. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs. There's a little park right across the street where we could walk them. The neighborhood itself is - I'll say - "up and coming" - every other street is either tidy cute and neat - or boarded up houses. The street this house is on is very cute and tidy. We felt pretty safe despite some of the nearby street looking a bit sketchy. There are enough families and nice folks walking around to make it feel like a safe - if transitioning - neighborhood. The location does feel "close" to everything - everything is just a short drive away. And there is a great coffee shop ("Sleepyhead") within about 2.5 blocks. We went to it every morning; it was always busy - and has great vegan options! The host has done a wonderful job with this property!

The house was excellent! The yard could of been cut. We really would of liked to have spent some time in the back yard at the fire pit. The last occupants left trash in the outside trash been. So space was limited. Our check out was at 10 am. The owner showed up at 9:20amAnd opened the front door.That scarred my daughter who was there at the time! But the house was cute and very clean. And well stocked with amenities for cooking.

Thanks for staying. When there was no vehicle in the drive I thought you had checked out and was going to start laundry for my cleaner. The lawn guys comes every 10 days, and we have had alot of rain, sorry for the grass not cut. I also had two guests that were check ins and check outs. Our trash just runs on Fridays, but I could have dragged another spare can to the house, if you had notified me.

Tammy always has the right comfort items in her houses. We had small items like seasonings, coffee and filters. Super clean and cozy! Beautiful flowers. Love sitting on the porch.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Gray Gables. It was very clean, cozy and convenient to all of the things that we were doing while in Chattanooga.

We met Miss Tammy, she was super friendly. Our place was extremely clean, cozy, decorated beautifully & was loaded with necessities. Super close to lots of attractions in the area. We will for sure be back.

I had this property build for a vacation rental. I own the whole block. The other houses are yearly rentals. I have been playing Monopoly in my neighborhood since 1983. There are 2 other short term rentals on this same block, Ridgedale Roost and Kathy's Kottage, Thatcher's Mill House and Makin' Memories for large family events.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result.
My insurance does not cover the follow dog breeds: Dobermans, Pit bulls, and Chows.
Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!
