So convenient

This is a great area to stay. Easy access to NYC by bus, PATH, ferry. Good local shops for food, drink etc and plenty of restaurants nearby. Spacious, warm apartment.

First Rate

Superb apartment. Host Diane was super thoughtful and helping. There was a boil water advisory when we arrived, and she had already left a lot of bottled water before we arrived. The listing picture do not do justice to the premises. It’s much nicer in real life. Kitchen is well appointed,, including a quality range. Good utensils and dishes. The beds are comfortable. Really a great stay. Would return any time.

Excellent place to stay

Extremely good location,bars restaurants nearby and transportation into New York . Safe clean area . The host responded quickly with any questions that we had . The apartment had everything you needed .

Immaculate, very comfortable and great location

This was our second stay at this very charming apartment. It checks all the boxes for a vacation rental that we will always return to. For starters , it is in a nice walkable neighborhood with beautiful trees, historic homes and an awesome view of the new york city skyline from the bedroom window.. it was impeccably clean upon arrival and well stocked . You can walk to several restaurants and grocery stores and delis! A longer stay next time is a must!

Love this place!!!

It was a great stay, we will definitely will be back to Hoboken. It was perfect to see the city every morning and then take the ferry over to NYC. We didn’t have a car so we either walked (which everything is within .5 miles) or took a bus/taxi/uber. Very fun and great experience, only one bathroom which was a little hard with friends but overall great. Besides the dog barking on the last night, it was very quiet and would book again. I would say really not for small kids though, the house is very old but really well maintained. Kids might have a harder time with the stairs and space.

Excellent accommodation and location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, property was a home from home with everything we needed and more. Location and local restaurants/shops all fabulous. Would definitely return as loved this town. It was an ideal base to explore New York City and return to relax each day too.

Great Location

The owner was so helpful with our stay. She was kind enough to give us advice on how to get around NJ/NY and even left maps in the apartment to help you out! Would definitely stay again!

Family visit

We stayed for 3 nights. Diane’s place lived up to the pictures. It was bigger than I expected. Perfect for a family with an adult child and teenager. Also the location is excellent. It is close to shopping and lovely restaurants. The walk to the PATh was short and also picturesque. It was nice to come back to Hoboken after a hectic day in NYC.

Absolutely beautiful

We stayed fo 5 nights 4 Adults. The lace did not disappoint at all, exactly as advertised. The view is stunning , and beds comfortable. Getting over to Manhattan was easy, used bus and path train often. Diane is an amazing host , and provided us with so much information. From Australia

Simply Amazing!

We had a group of 4 women over 50. We have never stayed in Hoboken, wow what a beautiful city, with many amazing restaurants !! The house was on a beautiful street and so spacious!! The photos don’t do it justice! The owner and the communication was excellent!! Also, We enjoyed a quick ride over to NYC a couple times. I would definitely recommend!!

We loved this apartment

If you want to visit New York with family, this apartment is a beautiful alternative to NYC hotels, because you have more space, a Bus stop to Manhattan in a walking distance and a stunning view over the Skyline from the bedroom.

Five day New York break

Had a lovely New York City break staying in Hoboken. Property was perfect, clean, bright, spacious, well-equipped and was in a lovely neighbourhood with great variety of pretty quick links into New York. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect Location

Great location. Impressive view of NYC from your bedroom window. Really nice that coffee and tea were provided as well as visitor info, games, puzzles and books.

New York trip

Fabulous appt in Hoboken. Close to all amenities and easy access via bus to Manhattan. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. I much preferred stopping here than in Manhattan itself. The appt was well equipped and beautifully decorated and laid out. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Checking in and out was easy and communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Best place to stay in Jersey

What a gem! So clean and cozy! Stayed here for a girls trip to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was amazing. Perfect, spacious, so clean and comfortable. Easy access to NYC and the view was fantastic. We will definitely be back here.

Relaxing Stay in Great Location.

Wonderful property that is situated in a quite, fun little section of Hoboken. The host is always very prompt in communicating & most importantly keeps a clean, well maintained home away from home. Corner bedroom has a view of Lower Manhattan that is breathtaking at night. Great time!

Fabulous find in Hoboken

We had an amazing time on our girls trip!! Diane’s place is the best. It was just a short bus trip over to NYC. We were able to have a day in the city and come back and relax. I will definitely be booking this place again!!

Great location!

Nice location close to train station to get to New York. Close to a nice park and waterfront scenery. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. Had most things we needed except she doesn't supply tissues which I feel is a common necessity!

Anfitrión: Diane Imus

Jay and I have been married since right after college, and are among the 'founding families' of Hoboken, staying here while our three kids grew up in a unique and urban walking town. We love to travel, and are big VRBO vacation renters, renting houses as far away as Washington state, Maine, New Hampshire and California. Jay works in Manhattan, and I work in Hoboken at a publishing company, which moved to Hoboken from NYC in 2002. Our two older sons are in college, and our daughter is in High School.

We purchased this house in 1999, when our family was really young. Over the years we've renovated almost every square inch of the place, while trying to keep the original, historic charm. The house was built in 1901, along with 4 other 'mirror-image' houses on Castlepoint. We love the street, the neighborhood and the fact that it's a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Hoboken. We've recently decided to convert one apartment so we could expand a little over the holidays, and enjoy the city view.

This home has a history, and living in it has been a very happy experience. We're a half a block from the park, and in the summer, our kids were in and out, off the basketball courts, on the playground, biking, roller blading. We've watched the Hoboken waterfront transform from broken down industrial into an absolute gem, where people walk, bike and fish, and simply sit outside with a book. Hoboken is a neighborhood extension of Manhattan.
