Sunset On The Sound is a brand new, end-unit townhome situated directly on the water in the private community of Colington Pointe. Located at west end of the development, Building 301 offers the best views and is considered the crown jewel of Colington Pointe. Guests will enjoy access to the 50-foot outdoor pool and a sound-front boardwalk, perfect for dog-walking.

A thoughtfully designed layout utilizes a reverse floor plan to take full advantage of the incredible sound views and breathtaking sunsets. The open-concept great room features an electric fireplace and direct access to the sun deck for seamless indoor/outdoor living. Sunset On The Sound is professionally decorated and constructed with quality finishes including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Three spacious bedrooms each have access to a private bath, ensuring privacy for everyone in your group. There's even a dedicated office on the top level located off the kitchen that provides a secluded space for remote work or school. When you arrive, unpacking will be a breeze using the elevator for luggage and groceries.

Pets allowed - dogs only (two max, 25lb. limit). No smoking/vaping.

The property is outstanding and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s dog friendly which is mandatory for us. We will be back next year.One thing to remember is there will be mosquitoes and bugs if you sit outside after dark with lights on. You are right on the water/marsh so that’s expected. Don’t sit on the balcony with the door open after dark.The views are a highlight! Morning coffee on the balcony and sunset wine are unbeatable!

Awesome place to stay! The elevator was super convenient for everyone in the family. I definitely recommend this place. Only negative was the pool water was freezing!

Comfortable and Serene stay

We had a nice and comfortable stay at this location. Although not beachfront, the view of the bay is still splendid and serene. The description of the townhouse is very accurate; each bedroom had a view of the bay and had it's own full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pots/pans to cook a meal (although you will need to bring condiments and spices). The pans and bakeware were a bit worn out (so those should be replaced). The location is within a fair distance (10-15 minutes) from a few touristy spots (ie. Sand dunes, Wright Brothers museum, lighthouse, beach, seafood restaurants). We did not use the pool so cannot comment on that aspect of the stay. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this place.

Absolutely gorgeous condo in a fabulous neighborhood. Book with no worries at all. Only negative(and not a negative for everyone) is dont bring too big of a boat lol. The water behind the condo is shallow. So a shadow draft boat is perfect. Sunsets are absolutely amazing here. You will not regret booking here at all. Perfect stay.

Outer Banks

Trip over all was good had some rain days which are never enjoyable. Traffic as expected. Resturants always delicious. Construction of adjacent units not what you need to hear on vacation. Construction workers parking made it difficult to manage our vehicles. Beach time always makes for a good trip.

Beautiful mornings & evenings

Quite, calm, and peaceful. Lovely location. Friendly neighbors. And wonderful light in the house to enjoy the sunny mornings and evenings. The unit had most of the necessary house items needed to enjoy the week. It would have been nice to have a hand held shower wand for the outside shower. 😉
