The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction. This apartment is located on the second floor.
The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.
The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking and no pets.
The kitchenettes are perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Bjugan Stay
Overall, Excellent. If there's anything that was a bit off-putting, was the musty smell when we first entered. We sprayed Febreze every day, when we left to go exploring and every night before we retired for the night. It took 3 - 4 days for the musty smell to fade, and we only stayed 5 days. Did the carpeting get very wet at some point in time?

Perfect location
Everything the listing says is accurate. It's not glamorous, but very clean and the location was ideal for going to all the South Dakota attractions.
There were a few amenities I think most people would like to see added. We were disappointed not to have a tv in the bedroom; at the end of a long day, we like to veg out without getting up again.
The air conditioner is, as stated, in the living area, but there is a fan to set up that blew the cooler air into the bedroom.
The shower was adequate, but we would have appreciated a towel ring or bar to hang our hand towel on.
Overall, we were very happy with this property. The check in and out process was easy and fast. The bed was comfy (but those pillows!! Was glad I'd brought my own!) and again, everything was very clean which is the most important thing to us!
