Birthday weekend

We rented this property with a group of friends for a weekend and loved it. We were very impressed with how clean the place was. Location was great! We only had a very short walk to river access as well as restaurants.

The condo was very clean, had all of the amenities you could need, and was in a great location!

Perfect location! Easy in and out, by car and by river access!

Great Location!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great condo. Right on the Comal, within walking distance to downtown and directly across the street from Schlitterbahn. The only downside is the swimming pool right beside the condo. The quiet time doesn't start until midnight and you can hear people in the pool.

A Great Location!

We loved this condo. It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and within walking distance to most everything. Only two drawbacks - the unit looks out over the pool and it can get quite noisy at night with the quiet time not beginning until midnight. You can hear activity from the pool in both bedrooms and living room. And the picture of the Comal is not a view from the unit. It’s a close walk though. Would definitely stay here again

Nice, Clean Condo in Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a perfect place to stay in New Braunfels. It was clean. The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials, silverware, plates, and glasses. Community is quiet, and there is a pool to enjoy at the end of a day full of floating the river. Location is near the last public exit, so you can get out at the private condo exit or continue floating to the last exit. We walked to Prince Solms and Hinman Island several times, which wasn’t too far from this condo. Overall, highly recommended for cleanliness, location, and community.

Rivers Edge Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have no complaints with the condo or Management Company. We did have to return early(11 days) due to the Covid-19 outbreak and therefore asked for a refund of the unused portion of the rental. The fact consideration was not given may force us to look to a different leasing next year.

Nice location - but restrictive

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at River's Edge for the first time this year. We had our family staying in multiple units which added up to over $2,000 for 3 days for 5 adults and 3 kids. The unit was nice but we felt a little threatened about the wrist bands and garbage. If we lost one wrist band, it would cost us $100 and if we lost them all, it would cost us $800???? We didn't lose them but we were too scared to wear them also. As a separate note, as we have used more and more vacation rentals over the last several years, we are now considering going back to more of a hotel model where we don't have to worry about $800 wrist bands and taking out our own garbage. Several of us are starting to discuss this option since we eat out mostly and are at the water park for much of the time. All and all the unit was fine but expensive for what we used.

Hi Cynthia, we understand your frustration and apologize for the wristband rules. The complex HOA only provides us with one set of wristbands per unit, including owners. We do have signage in the unit and check in information that we would charge a $100 fee, however we would not charge $100 a wristband, this is posted to make sure our guests do return the wristbands, we understand that accidents happen if you were to accidentally lose one. We apologize if it made you uncomfortable, if you had given our office a call about your concerns, we would have been happy to let you know that we will not charge the $100 per lost wristband. We never want our guests to feel uneasy or uncomfortable during their vacation. We hope that you will give us a second chance in the future, we do manage over 100 properties in the area. Thanks, NBE.

Great 2 night stay

Reviewer Comments: Our reservation was under my name and I got caught in traffic so I was going to be late and everyone else was there already, so I called and they allowed the other ladies to check in without me after following their check in procedure. They were so kind and easy to work with. Our bridal party stayed for two nights, the condo was clean and very nice. Overall a great experience, we will stay again when we are in the area next.

First Time Rentor

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the facility. The condo complex is clean and well maintained. The particular condo we occupied was awful. It is carpeted throughout including bathrooms and the carpet is filthy. The kitchen is poorly supplied and I purchased knives and other supplies. The furniture is all uncomfortable to sit and try and watch t.v. The beds were nice and mattresses comfortable. When the dishwsher broke the owner had it replaced promptly.

Great stay

Was comfortable for 2 couples and a young adult. Checking in was fast and everything was clean. Enjoyed the property and the location is awesome. Restraints and some sites located within a mile or so. Thank you!

A Good Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very convenient location to all things New Braunfels. We found the condo clean with very comfortable beds (same cannot be said for the sofa which should have been retired in the 60s). The kitchen is very small but has what you need. It’s not the problem of this condo owner but the couple below has two very large dogs who bark frequently throughout the night. Thankfully, they aren’t there every night. Other than that, good accommodation. Amanda and Jennifer were professional and great to work with
