Lovely Stay at Dolce Tempo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time enjoying this beautiful home and surrounding neighborhood, beaches and town. The house is comfortable, clean, warm and welcoming.

This house is a charming, clean airy home. The decor is perfect fora home near the beach. All neutral/white colors with pop of beautifulblue here and there. 5 min walk to Carmel River State Beach, 15 min walkto downtown Carmel by the Sea. 2-3 min drive to Mission Ranch Restaurant.We loved it!Shelly Suttles

The house was lovely and in a great location to walk around Carmel and to the beach. Everything was well laid out and comfortable. Beds were great and everyone slept well. The one tricky piece was the navigation to the property -

We had a great time but were disappointed by the minimal kitchen supplies, pits and pans ( literally 3 total ) and general supplies like trash bags and seasonings ( salt & pepper but nothing else ). For the price we paid, there should be better provisions for families wanting to cook a meal “at home”.

We had a great stay at this house for our girls weekend!! The house was in a great location, walkable to both the beach and restaurants and shops downtown. The house was also well stocked and very clean.

Our family of seven enjoyed our stay at Dolce Tempo. The location was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to town. The house was filled with charm and natural light. The bedding was decent quality and the linens were clean. Please be aware there is no air conditioning so opening the windows to cool the home is the only option you have. There are also no screens in the windows. Our trip was late October and the house became very warm during the day and was slow to cool at bedtime.The advertisement for the home mentioned a bathtub which was a necessity for us with three young children. The rest of the house was clean aside from a few carpet stains, but the bathtub was unusable until I cleaned it. The jets in the bathtub were visibly full of black biofilm and it was apparent the tub had not been cleaned properly in a very long time. I found this strange because they advertised a “jetted tub” which requires extra attention in the cleaning process. The house also needs some repairs to ensure the safety of its guests. The corner tile piece of the kitchen bar was missing which makes the corner very sharp and dangerous if you have a child who is the height of the counter. The two concerns I mentioned cause me to wonder how much time the cleaning staff is given to properly clean the home and also if anyone from management checks in to make necessary maintenance and repairs.

Great vacation home

Great home, just as described, great patio for relaxing evenings outdoors, and unbelievably beautiful walk down to ocean. Would def stay here again.

Great location for acres to Carmel River Beach. Bright and open, accommodated 6 adults nicely. Kitchen needs to be inventoried and the pillows aren’t great, but overall it’s a great space for a group.

Wonderful Carmel Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful weekend stay at Dolce Tempo. The home was incredibly clean, fresh and comfortable. Nothing 'icky' about anything, and I am rather picky. It was a happy house with great natural light, access to the outdoors, nice little kitchen, cheerfully decorated. To go into town (which is close but not quite walking distance), we just took Ubers to avoid the hassle of parking-- it was totally worth it. Located in a nice neighborhood and close to a beach for morning walks. We plan to re-do this trip next spring and stay here again.
