Charming home with stunning lake views!

This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations.
The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We can sleep 5 comfortably and 8 MAX.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each.
Downstairs there is one large bedroom with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes its own bathroom. We call that the bunk room! This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Spend the days exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake after a busy day!
Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars.
We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips).
We have enjoyed eight seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2025 season at Green Point Getaway!
Julie and Joe. *PLEASE NOTE* after the 2024 season from December to March we will be renovating. We will be upgrading the entryway adding a new front porch, new front door and a new sliding glass door -! Edit: 4/2025 it is complete but we are still working on updating our pictures!

We have a driveway that can accommodate approximately four vehicles. There is no parking in the front of the house and by permission in the back.

Girls weekend

Julie is a great host. The house was clean and well stocked. We were not lacking for anything. It is cute house that is close to town and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The house was very comfortable for 7 women.

Charming house for lake front getaway

This house was so charming, with beautiful views of the lake in the fall, and lots of beds for a group trip. Perfect location for being close to town, local hiking, and all of the wineries. Julie was a super helpful host with lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. We had a great time!

Another Amazing Stay

I have stayed at Julie's place several times and each time it is perfect! I highly recommend this house. It is a great location to explore Watkins Glen and the surrounding wineries. Julie's hospitality is wonderful, the beds are comfortable and she has thought of all the little details to make your time at the house enjoyable.

Great weekend in the finger lakes!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Julie’s place. The property was so organized and Julie had it stocked with everything we could need. The house was the perfect gathering place for us before we headed out to explore the beautiful Watkins Glen area. Would absolutely stay at Julie’s again!

Fabulous option for a stay in Watkins Glen

Our group of 5 had a wonderful 4 night stay. Julie is a fantastic host who is extremely communicative and responsive. The location is quiet, but easily walkable down to the resort and the town. The house is a gem with several terrific indoor and outdoor spaces for lazy mornings or intimate evenings overlooking the South end of the lake. The house is well-equipped with the location of everything you need clearly labeled, and lots of information posted with options for activities / things to see. Highly recommended

Beautiful Property

Julie was extremely helpful and organized when I was planning our girls trip. She gave countless suggestions for activities! When we arrived, everything was labeled and clean. There were lists of suggestions in the home for drivers and activities to do while staying. One of my favorite parts of this house was waking up in the morning to a beautiful lake view. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I would love to visit again! I appreciate all the help and tips from Julie. I definitely recommend this beautiful home and location for a vacation.

Girls Trip

Had an amazing week staying at Julie’s property in Watkins Glen. The house is near town and you can even walk there which was an added bonus. Julie was a great host and very responsive. My only minor complaint was there isn’t a ton of sitting room in the living room for our larger group of 7 women and the dining room chairs could use some updating but other than that the home was beautifully decorated and Julie has made an amazing effort to make sure we had all the things we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

The perfect place!

This little slice of heaven has so much cool history! It makes it even sweeter that Julie opens her home for others to experience. She knows how to host and make you feel right at home. Everything is clearly labeled to find. It was super clean and we appreciated having shampoo and other toiletries available for our use. The views off the front deck are spectacular! Some of our group rose early to watch the sunrise. We didn’t use the fire pit but it’s so cozy on the deck that we decided to skip going out to eat in the second night and just enjoy. I did reach out to our host while there and she was very prompt and sweet on her responses. This is a fabulous place that we look forward to visiting again!

Amazing

Would go back every year! Clean, quiet, beautiful views, host was very efficient and incredibly nice. The town is easy to get around and highly recommend going to water falls and renting a pantoon boat. You definitely should consider this if you are looking to relax and unwind

Beautiful Property and Excellent Stay

Julie was an incredible host! She gave so many great recommendations and helped us really have an amazing stay in Watkins Glen. The house is close enough to walk to several spots and has a beautiful porch to enjoy the lake. Would 100% stay here again.

Amenities, Charm and Comfort at the Heart of Seneca Lake

Our hosts provided a well stocked, functional home in a quiet setting on the south shore of Lake Seneca. With four bedrooms, two sitting areas and scenic outdoor space, we had plenty fo room to spread out and relax. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, and extensive information on area restaurants, wineries and other attractions is provided on "the information wall". Lisa was in touch throughout our stay. This was a fun and convenient base of operations which we highly recommend.

Ideal location, beautiful property

We stayed here as a group of friends, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out without being on top of one another. Julie was incredibly thoughtful with all of the notes around the home, and super responsive to any questions we had! I would for sure book again for a group big or small.

June 24-28 Awesome stay

Our stay in this little gem was outstanding! The amenities and communication that Julie offers is second to none. All of the extras in the house were such a nice touch, I've stayed in many VRBOs and this one was icing on the cake. The location was perfect and the views were breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we will absolutely be returning in the future.

Great Place and Location

This was a great location within walking distance from town. The house was very clean and the host provided a lot of information on restaurants, hikes, wineries, distilleries, breweries, transportation, and activities. The outdoor space was nice with a gorgeous view of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot for us!

We couldn't have had a more perfect stay at this charming property. We were in town for a bachelorette wine tasting weekend (a group of 7 women). There was plenty of room for all of us and we appreciated all of the special touches. We all said that we would stay there again!

Hello and welcome to Green Point!
My Grandfather bought this property in 1929 to woo my Grandmother to marry him! It worked! His name was Willis Green and he built my Grandma Sophie a house and painted it Green like their last name! I wonder if he knew that their daughter would end up coming back home to live with them and their granddaughters would end up living there as teenagers. My Mother always told me " the lake brings us back". She was right.
Fast forward and the fact is.... we just can't let this family treasure go.
Please enjoy what we love dearly. This house, town and region has so much to offer!
My husband Joe and I both graduated from Watkins Glen and now live in Rochester and have two children that are young adults now. When we retire we plan to move here!
My sister Jodi graduated from Watkins Glen and now lives in Canandaigua with her husband and two children!
We all clean and maintain the property collectively and enjoy time at the house anytime we can!
