This is a lovely historic home. Very spacious, quiet, very charming decor. Although it only has 1 bathroom, they have set up a desk in the hallway outside the bathroom with a blow dryer, mirror and a make up mirror which works great to ease congestion in the bathroom if you were traveling with 6 people. We would definitely stay again. We did not have a need to contact the host once we arrived and all info regarding check in and check out was clear and concisely communicated.

This beautiful historic home had so much to offer. It was close to Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin. There was a full grocery store in nearby Tropic so we could make our own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The views were outstanding from the porch. We were able to do some laundry and slept so well in the cozy beds.

College graduation trip to Utah

We loved staying at this historic house! It was beautifully maintained and clean. It was a quick trip to Bryce, where we spent most of our days and nights but we enjoyed dinner at Showdowns and the rodeo. It was also a welcome respite between hotel stays thanks to the kitchen and laundry room. Highly recommend!

Overall the house was nice about 30 min drive to Bryce. We enjoyed our stay especially the front porch.

The house was beautifully historic. The Furniture arrangement in the living room was terrible. You couldn’t even see the television from the sofa only from the loveseat. The internet connection was terrible and nonexistent When the people checked in on the lower level, you couldn’t call anyone to contact the host because you couldn’t get a Wi-Fi signal to dial out. Four people were in the parking lot when we left to see the sunset and they were still there when we got back waiting to check in to the house that we were staying in and of course they couldn’t get a Wi-Fi signal and they couldn’t call and they didn’t have any numbers, so we helped them as much as we could so it was double booked. I understand it’s a very expensive area and it was the highest that we paid throughout southern Utah and all the national parks so we were happy to get that house with three bedrooms. When we were at contact the people to fix the Internet, they did it efficiently, but it took us four hours to get a Wi-Fi signal somewhere else to have them fix it. We rearranged the furniture because I had an interior designer staying with me, but of course we rearrange the furniture back to where it was before we left so we didn’t get charged for moving furniture. I can say that the cowboy restaurant was amazing and only about five minutes from where we were staying about a two hour wait for a table, but it was well worth it. I did love all the charmingwoodworking details and Stainglass accents loved

Quiet, Clean, Convenient

Perfect location for being close to Bryce and away from the crowds. Very clean and well appointed historic home. Tons of space, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable hanging out space. Will be back.

Bryce visit

Great location to base out of for Bryce Canyon. Very quiet quaint community. We only stayed here to sleep and play cards. It was great for that. Little town of tropic about 5 mi away had some really good restaurants.

Beautiful

The house was fantastic, and it was impeccably clean. The location was perfect for all the hikes on our list. We couldn't have asked for a better place.
