Beautiful water location with amazing views of the lake! They had just cut back the reeds near the dock which made it extra nice for our stay. The host was super communicative, checking in on us several times, very kind and helpful. The VRBO was super stocked with supplies which came in very handy, not expected and much appreciated. The indoors were super clean and the finishes are gorgeous! Highly recommend this VRBO and if our travels ever take us back to the Breezy Point area we'll be sure to see if it's available. 10/10!

Perfect cabin for a family of four. The location and community were great. Excellent fishing off the dock!! Loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Game room was amazing and we enjoyed playing ping pong. Beds were very cozy and comfortable. All accommodations were great. Plenty of space and several seating options. Quiet and private location during the week. Beach area was nice but not for swimming. Pelican public beach 15 minutes away was a great swimming option; very shallow water. Easy booking, check in and check out. Would recommend and go back again and again!

Great family getaway

A wonderful location and a wonderful time.Plenty of things to do and we did it all from fishing to kayaking to the game room. The location was very quiet and peaceful. The lake view was beautiful and the raised patio was a nice touch. We had a great fall getaway!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The lake view was amazing and they had Kayaks which were super fun to take out. My only complaint is that keypads on the doors weren’t working so the cabin could only be locked from the inside but that’s an easy fix! Highly recommended if you want a nice stay for your family and friends.

Beautiful get-away

We stayed at the cabin for a few days and loved our stay. The view is so beautiful, and the cabin was very comfortable and spacious. The kids had a blast at the beach, and the neighbors were super friendly! We would stay here again

Summer vacay

Loved the cabin and view of the lake. Very clean and nice accommodations fully stocked kitchen lovely bathroom!! Perfect dock to have a boat loved every minute.

Cute cabin on the Lake! Very comfortable primary bed and well appointed cabin. I have a tendency to pull weeds but I didn’t have enough time between rainstorms.

Peaceful stay

Great property for couples or families. There was lots of seating in the living room. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was great. There was a great view as well. The Paul Bunyan trail was within an easy drive.

Awesome family retreat

Our stay was wonderful. The house was in a great location, right on the water, listing is 100% accurate with description and pictures of this property. We had 5 adults and 2 teens. We all had such a great time, and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The lake is crystal clear. We rented a boat from a nearby marina, but caught more fish off the dock on the property! We would definitely return to this VRBO.

Was very nice, kitchen stove , lights don’t work. I did get blankets out of closet right away first night and they were wet. The cleaners didn’t dry them.

Great location. Outside needs some attention.

We loved the cabin location and amour of beds. Didn't have enough toilet paper and washcloths unfortunately. With the open shower it needs a mat or extra towels to clean up the floor. The outside was disappointing. The lane wasn't mowed and there were so many weeds coming up to the cabin. The dock is pretty unusable with the amount of weeds around it.

Great lake, just okay property

Overall, we had a lovely time on Pelican Lake. The (very close) neighbors were fantastic, & the area offers a classic Northern Minnesota vacation. Unfortunately there were issues with the property & management that affected our stay. We arrived to overflowing waste bins from previous guests. Additionally, some watercraft paddles were broken & damaged beyond usability. No problem, we just reached out to the site manager as directed in the welcome instructions. It took more than 24 hours to receive a reply. She never addressed the kayak paddles (we bought our own) but told us they'd try to schedule a pick up for trash. That didn't happen, and she never checked back in with us. We spent a week with reeking, overflowing bins at the end of the drive and nowhere to take out trash as it accumulated in the cabin. Dissappointing communication & support. Additional things to be aware of: the dock was almost completely choked off with cattails, making it difficult to launch kayaks or access water to play. There was lack of attention inside the cabin, too. Bad batteries in smoke detectors led to mid-night hunts to locate the source of alarms. Soap dispensers in the shower were nearly empty. Weirdly, towels in the cabinet reeked of cigarettes. Most of this could be avoided with better management. Unavoidable was the lack of soundproofing between the loft & bedrooms below (very noisy for those below). Despite that, we'd stay again under different management. Great lake & decent value.

We enjoyed our stay very much, lake view was beautiful, convenient location for golfing. House was clean and comfortable, would like to have had more room for clothing and luggage, there are a couple closets but had other items stored in them and not many hangers. Would definitely stay here again!
