This spacious and immaculate lakefront home is a four season nature lover's delight as it provides a truly spectacular, peaceful, wide-angle view of Green Lake and the home sits 25 feet from the water’s edge! Completely updated, this spacious home is perfect for a family holiday vacation or work from home flex-cation as it features high speed internet, a fully equipped kitchen, premium beds and linens, multiple large flat screened smart TVs, a fireplace, and room to work and play. The media room just updated with huge leather sectional seating for 10! The lakeside three season porch is perfect for a peaceful dinner or brunch, games or simply enjoying the this beautiful and magical lake. We invite you and your family or friends to come and enjoy the spectacular natural paradise. This special lake is large (two-thousand-acre) yet peaceful and not crowded. It is perfect for summer boating, fishing, swimming, and paddle boards and winter ice fishing and skating. Our particular site has a beautiful sandy beach and gradual sandy bottom. We rent year -round because all four seasons have their own unique beauty. This home has premium beds, and is air-conditioned with large windows to connect you to the breath-taking beauty surrounding you. It has a gas fireplace, family room with flat screen TV, Living Room. First Floor has its own Master Suite with private bath. Second Floor has 6 bedrooms and four full baths including 1 large Bunk Room.
Listen to the loons in the morning and beautiful, music floating across the water from the world famous Interlochen Arts Academy and summer Music camp down the shoreline of Green Lake, only a 20 minute walk away.

This home was perfect. The lack front was clean and sandy with plenty to do.The bedroom set up was especially nice with the many families we had with older kids, lots of space.

Great vacation at a great house!

The house was bigger and nicer than we expected. Plenty of room for large groups in a beautiful area of Michigan. Property manager was exceptionally polite and helpful.

This house is exactly as pictured. They have everything you need - we’ve never stayed in such a well stocked place!! All you need to bring are your personal items. A great place for a family get-together!!

Best vacation ever with friends

Pictures do not do justice! Great place to hang out! Kids and adults had a great time kayaking or simply relaxing on the patio. Many attractions are near by, hard part was to get the kids out of the house! Property manager and owner very accommodating and prompt. Love to go back!

This was a great house for our multi-generational family. The main floor bedroom and full bathroom were great for my parents. The configuration of the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms gave a lot of flexibility. Well stocked kitchen. Grateful for the easy check out process. Loved the sandy beach. Many places inside and out for all 12 of us to gather as one.

Wonderful, Large Vacation House

This house had many amenities included, stacked cabinets with spices and food, laundry and bug spray!! Plenty of beds, people had multiple choices and we were a party of 10. Lake was wonderful and clean. location was in the middle of everything we wanted to do including Sleeping Bears Sand Dune, Pontoon boating, Brew Tour, Kayaking on Pine River and more! Great restaurants nearby and a very close large grocery store. I would recommend to anyone. Really enjoyed this stay.

Interlochen Graduation Stay

This property is amazing. More than enough bedrooms to accommodate a large family. The house was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There was ample room where we were not on top of one another. The view of Green Lake is beautiful. I highly, highly recommend this property. Thank you for allowing us to use your property and create great memories!!

It was great, the view from inside and on the patio is just beautiful. The home was lovely and we couldn’t ask for anything more. Linda (host) was great at answering my questions. "The Best Time Of Our Lives"

With the Pandemic and not being able to see our family, we needed this amazing vacation! Your Home became our home for a full week. Our beautiful family were so thankful, and so excited being here at interlochen. We all took advantage of the lake, fishing, conoeing, Paddle boarding and the list goes on! I hope in the near future, at some point we will be back. Thank you again, for sharing your home, we will remember this experience for a life time!

Lake Family Getaway

This home was perfect for our family of ten including three children. Everyone so enjoyed being on a lake with a private beach, and the canoes, kayaks, and children’s toys added to the fun. We loved the three-seasons room to gather after making dinner in the large, well-stocked kitchen. A feature we appreciated was that the master bedroom and bath are accessible on the first floor. Another positive was the location of the home is in proximity to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The property managers were helpful and accommodating. We would recommend this house to those seeking a family getaway or reunion.

As described

The property was just as described. The house was large enough to accommodate 16 of us with privacy and bathrooms sufficient for all. The house sits just feet from a serene lake. There are canoes, kayaks a plenty and a sandy beach. The kitchen is fully stocked and had two large refrigerators with plenty of room for all the food we brought. The house is clean. The place met all our expectations and served well for a large family gathering for 5 days. The owner was responsive to all my questions. You can feel comfortable renting this place.

A perfect spot

We loved our visit to Ruth’s Cottage. It accommodated our family very well for our family reunion. We loved the property and setting. It met everyone’s needs. We enjoyed utilizing the water equipment provided. We would enjoy staying again if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful getaway for large family

Perfect accommodations for our family! Beautiful home , lovely view of the lake, many amenities. Kids loved all of the paddle boards, kayaks, sand toys. Great communication with property manager. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again!

A very well laid out home on the lake with the baths and bedrooms fully usable and a beautiful beach

The house did not skimp on anything- it was fabulous, cozy, welcoming and we loved that the host has though through everything including the number of kayaks, paddles, - you name it and they have accommodated it.

Perfect Green Lake Getaway

The pictures do not do justice for this beautiful home. There was ample space to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary with 16 of us gathering for the occasion. Fishing was terrific for both largemouth and smallmouth bass. We ventured around Traverse City and the surrounding area and nothing was more than 30 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home with my family and letting us make some memories that will last a lifetime.

Everything was wonderful!

We stayed here recently with a group of family and close friends and everyone in the group loved it. It's a beautiful house, as clean as could be, comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in a beautiful setting right on the lake. A few restaurants, stores, and a gas station are within a couple of miles, and it's not far to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay

This is a wonderful house to rent. The property manager is very friendly and helpful. When I walked in the door, I felt like I was in a home, not a rental house. The house was very clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We had 14 adults and we had plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again.
