This is a Great Lake house that can accommodate a large family. The sandy beach is a major plus! Will for sure be back!!

We spent a week here with 3 families - 6 adults and 5 children under 9. The kids loved the beach area - and we spent the majority of our time in the basement kitchen / game room area. The families with the kids used the two upstairs living areas, grandma & grandpa slept downstairs The house was fully stocked with paper products, washing machine supplies, body soap in the bathrooms. Outside Coke cooler was a nice surprise for all the extra beverages. Plenty of room downstairs for all the games, crafts, karaoke, puzzles, pool games, foosball…we would definitely consider renting here again !!

We had 3 different families and the lodge was perfect for us. Everything you needed was there already. We always take paper products, cleaning supplies and things you need in general and it was all provided. Lake access was great for our little ones and adults. The fire pit was a hit at night for kids roasting marshmallows. There were sand toys for the little one and kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat for big kids. It was clean and perfect for a memorable family vacation !!!

Beautiful vacation home

Location is amazing, great for a big family get away, lots of space, very clean and organized. Worth every penny. My whole family had a wonderful time and would book this location again and again.

High Lake House

We’ve never stayed at such a comfortable, super well stocked and beautiful home. All of our guest loved it and would stay there again, anytime

8 days wasn't long enough

We loved our stay on High Lake. It is our second year in a row on this lake and we enjoy our time there immensely. The house was extremely well stocked and comfortable. The kids loved the downstairs area, the sandy beach and swimming in the water. I'd recommend this property to anyone and would certainly stay again myself.

Fun lake week

Enjoyed the sandy beach, kayaks, swim raft, paddle board,pedal boat and fire pit. Appreciated the large deck with 4 tables, ample paper products and calm, quiet lake close to Traverse City.

Great family getaway

Our family of 16 (8 adults, 8 kids) had a nice long weekend fishing, swimming, and playing inside and out. The place is much nicer than the pictures suggest.Thanks for offering up your place for us to stay.

Great Family home

We had a great time, there is plenty of room, the cabinets were stocked with all the paper products, towels, soap, shampoo… everything you need. We loved it! The lake is clean, the kids enjoyed swimming and fishing.

One of the best place Ii rented north Michigan

The 5 days we spent in this house were a blast! we built memory, and we will look to rent that place again for sure. The lake is gorgeous, and the house offer lot of opportunities. You can book the place with no hesitations!

Beautiful location, the lodge is nice and kept up.

I would recommend this place to everyone, we had a great time! The lodge is kept up well, plenty of appliances and dishes. The basement is a perfect place to hang out and play games. Diana was very helpful and polite. Great spot for a family vacation.

Amazing stay!

Very clean house with everything you could ever need. Beach was great for the kids. We caught a lot of fish from the lake. Pizza place was the best but kids like it. Close to grocery store and the city. Would stay again!

Slice of Heaven

Diana met us and introduced us to the lodge, kitchens were well stocked with all the paper products. Bath towels provided were more than enough, everything is super stocked for a large group! The beach area, docks, kayaks, paddle board and paddle boats are an amazing bonus! Bonfire area on the beach is complete contentment! If you need to unwind and spend some quality time with family making memories, High Lake Lodge is the place!

Great weekend getaway

Our family spent a long weekend at High Lake Lodge. It was our third time visiting, first time in the fall. The house was very clean and a perfect place for our large family to spread out. We took day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Grand Traverse Lighthouse. In the evenings we relaxed in the basement and made some good family memories. Thank you Diana!

Awesome House and Location

House was clean, owner is very nice! Location is perfect. Like 15 mins from downtown traverse city. There’s a great restaurant within walking distance of the house (peegios). House actually looks nicer in person than it does in the photos. Listing could use some updated pic’s because they really don’t do it justice.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

We had 6 adults and 7 kids all together for a family vacation. Plenty of room and a great location on a small lake. We rented a water trampoline for the week, and it was a huge success! We spent every afternoon and evening playing in the lake/on the beach, playing board games and making smores around the campfire. Memories made for sure!!

Great place

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Had a group of 14 in town for the marathon. Couldn't have been happier with the house. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Private lake. Again, the pics do not do the house justice. We would def stay again if ever in the Traverse City area. Thanks Diana.

We enjoyed this lake house!

We enjoyed our stay here! Not far from town at all! We did wish there were more actual beds due to 4 adults having to sleeping on the full in the basement and a pull out couch! Those weren’t very comfortable so they slept on air mattresses by the end of the week! The other 2 queens were comfortable. It was nice to have 3 kitchens and be able to split the families up! Also nice have an area in the basement for the kids! Beautiful view and the kids really enjoyed fishing and swimming!
