Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 1-57 Budget Hamilton Cove villa! Bright, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable - this villa is perfect for a couple, or bring the kids and use the sofa sleeper. Located across from the pool in building one, you will enjoy a full ocean view from the common balcony which can be entered through French doors from the living area and the bedroom. Hardwood and tile floors throughout. Worth every step - just 70 steps to the road. 766 SqFt H157

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Hamilton Cove amenities, including pool, spa, gym and tennis courts are currently closed and will re-open at the discretion of Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association for the health and safety of the community. All CIVR guests must comply with all applicable State of California, County of Los Angeles and City of Avalon laws, orders and protocols including the State of California COVID-19 Industry Guidance: Hotels, Lodging and Short Term Rentals. The one bedroom villa was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was clean and fully stocked like a home away from home. The breathtaking views and accessibility to our very own Golf cart to get around the island was the icing on the cake. Loved everything about our stay, worth every dollar.

The place is very nice. Having the golf cart there is a must as the place is slightly outside the town. But it also makes it fun to explore the city.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo on Catalina Island! The views were absolutely beautiful, and while there are quite a few stairs to get to the condo, they’re definitely worth it for the amazing ocean views. We also loved being so close to the pool—it was very convenient for our family.We did have a flat tire on the golf cart during our stay, but the vacation managers were incredibly responsive and had it fixed very quickly, which we really appreciated.The only other drawback was the laundry situation. The laundry facilities are outside the unit and are frequently used by the cleaning staff, so we weren’t able to use them as much as we would have liked.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this condo. The beautiful views, convenient location, pool access, and golf cart made it a great place to enjoy Catalina Island!

It was a very nice place with an excellent view of the ocean. It was very convenient to have a golf cart included with the stay so you can zip into town easily. The one issue we had was that the mattress on the hide away bed had a disgusting stain on it, so my kids slept on top of the couch instead of the bed.

Great stay in Hamilton Cove

We really enjoyed our time at this condo. What a wonderful view and amenities. We loved the golf cart to take us to town as needed and coming back to a more secluded and quiet area of the island.

This property is in a wonderful location with amazing views. We could hear the waves crashing onto the beach as we fell asleep each night and woke up each morning. The balcony views were breathtaking and the golf cart made accessing the island a breeze.

My overall stay at Catalina Island at the Hamilton Cove was great but there was issues. I’m not sure how any other condo is but for building 1-57 there were a couple of issues that need to be addressedThe first issue I have to address with the property was with the Ant infestation They were all underneath the fridge sink inside cabinets and the rooms including bathroomProperty was clean to an extent but still had to clean up areasThe sheets did not smell as fresh as well had to switch outMy biggest concern of all was there was no AC it was very hot when I was there and all we had was little fans that was provided at the propertyI did laundry as well but the dryer was broken and did not dry things properly so after wash I hang dry The golf cart had worn down that had to be replaced during our stay I would just check and make sure tires are up to park before driving anywhere in the island

The trip of a lifetime

Unbelievably incredible from start to finish. Location was amazing. Golf cart a HUGE hit and amenities were on point. Really had a blast exploring this jewel of a city.

I tried contacting the host and we only had the option to contact the company that manages the place which sounded like a call center. They also email you and text you but when you email them or text them, they do not respond back. I made them aware that the golf cart we received had bold and completely worn out tires and sent pictures and never received a response from them. We could not really explore the island as we had hoped for since we didn't want to risk getting a flat tire. Also for some reason our dining table was upside down and the glass almost fell. The villa itself was nice but pricey for the service. Also the internet and phone service worked fine in Catalina but bad in the villa area and since the villa's internet kept going out we could not request a cab.

Beautiful Relaxing and Teen Friendly

Went with my niece and nephew. They had a blast with the pool, swimming and snorkeling in the private cove and playing tennis. There is even a playground for smaller kids. The views were spectacular and we spotted more than a few deer wandering around the grounds. Golf cart was essential and the one that came with the unit was in good shape. It was a blast. They even want to go again!!

Fantastic location

We spent 3 nights in this condo. It was great that we got to use the golf cart, we drove all around - these are $45 + per hour in the town, so that was a good deal. We drove around a lot, into town several times and only spent $6 on gas! The view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony is shared with all 4 condo's on that level so you could be outside with your neighbors right next to you. The kitchen was fully equipped but we didn't really use it as there are so many restaurants. We didn't use the pool/tennis or mini golf areas. No pool towels included though. We drove into town the last day and dropped our luggage off at the pier ($6 for a day) and drove the cart back to the condo and then walked back into town - downhill thank goodness (took us 15 minutes). Otherwise it's a $20 cab fare. Wouldn't want to walk back as it's uphill. Did a good hike up into the hills one day, took us around 4 hours and we had great views. We took a tour of the casino, well worth it. Also toured the museum of catalina - a little lacking if you ask me. Didn't do any water sports as it was a little cool. Shopping was a little disappointing.

Our stay was decent. it was unfortunate that we could not check in early and had to pay for baggage storage, as well as not being able to check out lake and had to pay for baggage storage again, as the rental company did not accommodate holding the baggage . No air conditioning in the unit and it gets very hot and humid during the day. The golf cart was nice but mechanically was sub-par, very unresponsive and steering was unsafe. Over-all the unit was nice for where we were but well overpriced for the return.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, we love Hamilton cove and Catalina. It’s nicely decorated and clean and great views but definitely a lot of stairs. Just wish there was a bit more privacy on the balcony. Putting up a privacy screen or some kind of hedge screen would be nice. Would also be nice to have ceiling fan in the bedroom as it did get a bit warm for sleeping. And at least one more pillow for sleeping on couch. Also the doors and windows were a little tricky to open/close and really could have used some luggage racks to hold our suitcases we had to use the kitchen chairs instead. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would come again.
