Charming house that has all the comforts of home, even slippers and robes!The hot tub was a nice perk.We also utilized the kayaks. Simply lovely!

We were so pleased that we were able to book and stay at this lovely, spotlessly clean and super welcoming home for 3 nights. Karen and Neil were very kind hosts and provided excellent communication and hospitality! Their spacious and comfortable house was so close to the beach and shore, and provided easy access to local highways. We were able to explore Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg were so fun. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Overall the house was great and it gave us the opportunity to travel to nearby locations with ease. The house was well equipped although it only had one proper shower.The only problem we had was the noise from the road outside when you had the doors open or wanted to sit outside.

They thought of everything. The house is spotless and smelled amazing. Kitchen is fully stocked to make meals and furniture and beds are super comfortable. The owners left detailed information regarding use of the hot tub and we found the binder super helpful. 100% would stay here again.

The house is beautiful and fully stocked (even a pot big enough to cook some delicious lobsters!). Karen and Neil were kind and wonderful. We were very grateful to spend out stay in their home and spend time collecting sea glass at the beach down the street!

Home away from Home

Spotless beautiful home. Made you feel at home from the moment you walked through the door. Karen thought of everything and was the perfect hostess. Would definitely recommend this property. Close to many tourist spots. Would definitely return.

Very well equipped and maintained house. Short stroll to two beaches. Great for kids and adults alike. Lovely patio with a hot tub. Hosts Karen and Neil live next door and are available if there are any issues or questions. We hope to return.

Perfect quiet home to relax and explore Nova Scotia's coastline. The amazing location is on a beautiful coastal road to explore the peninsula's coast and only a two minute ride from the Rum Runner trail if we wanted a quiet forest ride to the next town.The house had all the amenities needed to whether we wanted to relax at the house or head out an explore the coast. The well furnished kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and property made it easy to settle in and feel at home as soon as we opened the door.

Wonderful place

This is a gem in an amazing location. Well laid out, beautifully decorated, everything you need and more, love the beach and water equipment as well as the outdoor games! The hot tub with a view of the ocean was incredible. The owners answered all questions promptly. I will look forward to coming back again.

Wonderful vacation

From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. The owners live next door, so we stopped over to let them know we were there and to get dinner suggestions. They gave us our privacy, but let us know they were there if we needed anything. This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. The weather was perfect, we were able to take the kayaks two mornings before heading out for a day of sight seeing. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Nova Scotia.

Amazing — a true gem

A spotlessly clean, amenity-loaded (hot tub, anyone??), beautiful house in a gorgeous spot handy to all kinds of natural beauty, activities, and amazing eats. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and clearly love the house and area. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Wonderful spot to stay.

Karen and Neil have created a lovely guest house — a very sympathetic renovation of a heritage family home. Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We especially appreciated that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor since my cousin had injured his knee and found stairs painful. We had a great time exploring southern Nova Scotia from our home base here. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental home! Communication with the owner was excellent—quick, clear, and very helpful. The house itself had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The teens especially loved the hot tub, which was a highlight after our busy days. We also discovered a fabulous pizza place just 15 minutes away—definitely worth the trip! The home had so much charm and character, making it feel warm and welcoming. We’d happily stay here again!

Everything we needed and more!

The house was very clean and had a full kitchen, cozy hot tub, beautiful patio, laundry, a big tv, games, books, nice linens. The hosts were quick to respond to communications and answered all our questions. We were located conveniently between Peggy’s cove and lunenburg. Nice neighborhood for a walk. two friendly cats came to say hello in the yard and we even saw a mama duck with her babies walking to the pond for a swim. We had a wonderful time and wish we would have stayed longer.

Lovely Spot

If you are looking for somewhere that feels like home while on vacation, this is the place. The house has charm with modern updates. We loved the hot tub and sitting by a fire each night. Karen and Neil provided everything you could think of and the amenities were plentiful. They also gave many suggestions of things to do in the area. The house was located between Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and Halifax, which was perfect for us. We really appreciated the lovely stay and the amazing hosts. We will definitely stay again if we are in Nova Scotia

Awesome

The home was so clean and organized. We all enjoyed the soft tub. The kids loved the games and books. Beautiful location with a short walk to the park and ocean. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything to make a meal. We just brought the food. The host Karen checked on us to make sure all was good. Definitely a roomy home we would stay in again. Beautiful property

This property is definitely a 10 plus property and Neil and Karen are the sweetest people. They check in with us on our day of arrival and when we were not going to arrive until after 10:30 pm. She left the lights on for us and texted us Along the way to be sure we were okay. The house is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer and used the kayaks that they had. We loved the hot tub. Highly recommend this property
