“Ka’uiki” – Unit 101 – is a one bedroom, one-bath unit. Located in Hana Kai’s upper (Mauka) building, this vacation rental is a corner, ground floor unit with easy access. There is a king-size bed in the bedroom and twin day beds in the living room. The kitchen has a pass-thru window to the spacious covered ocean view lanai. There is a 2nd covered lanai off the bedroom. This rental unit is perfect for elderly or families with small children. No steps and parking area is adjacent to the unit. The added bonus is a great view of Hana Bay!

This was perfect for a 1 night stay, would’ve even been great for a lengthy vacation too. The beach was beautiful and the unit itself was very nice! Would definitely stay again

Great location and space

Very nice stay. Fabulous deck and perfect location. Especially enjoyed walking down to the beach for sunrise. Would stay here again if we get the chance.

The view and quiet of the suite is outstanding. The back patio door goes out to a parking lot, but the front where you will spend all your time has a great patio and a view over the black sand beach. The property was quiet - even in mid-June. The front desk allowed us to do laundry in their hotel facility for a 10 fee per load - so just so you know that is the shared laundry. I thought it would be a laundry room for guests, but it is using the hotels own laundry machines where they would turn rooms.

Overnight stop

The property had beautiful landscaping. The room was big and the couch beds were perfect for our teens. The outdoor balcony and view made a nice spot to eat after a long day on the road to Hana.

This place is truly magical! Would definitely stay here again; check in was easy and the manager was very friendly. They also had chilled water for us which was very nice. Was so sad to leave paradise.

Really enjoyed staying in Hana one night to give us more time and keep us from feeling rushed on the Road to Hana tour. Not having to drive there and back in one day felt so good. The unit at Hana Kai Maui was very spacious compared to the hotel where we stayed in Lahaina, and we had a great view of a black sand beach (not the famous black sand beach, but another one) and ocean. We walked out to the beach in the morning to catch the sunrise. I would definitely stay again, but there's one thing I'd do differently--stay for longer! That way we could have even more time to explore the Road to Hana attractions that are around and beyond Hana. The lack of AC wasn't a problem as the weather there (even when we stayed in mid-July) was very nice at night, so the breeze from the ocean and keeping the fans on resulted in a similar equivalent temperature to how I would sleep in my own home.

Beautiful accommodation, nice air flow, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful sunrises from your lanai

Right on about things closing early...went for pizza at 4:45 and they closed early that night due to lack of help. Food trucks were great. Walked you beach on arrival day, went south to hike full day and Hana beach park for swim on way back. We enjoyed relaxing morning before check out and the road to Hana home.

Rainforest Getaway

Lovely boutique condominium complex right on the black sand beach of Hana Bay. Lush tropical grounds, koi ponds, unit #203 is charming and comfortable, has two lanais, and a stunning view from the oceanside lanai. Hana is for lovers, so bring your loved one and have a long relaxing visit. Cheers 🥂

Hāna for a night

The place was in a beautiful location next to the beach. Loved the view from the balcony. I was surprised the one bedroom has sliding windows into the living room and everything was very open. The desk clerk was helpful in letting us know places to eat close early. Only complaint was upstairs guest sounded like they were moving furniture.

Really nice place!

I was looking to get into the small town feel of Hana. This place was perfect! We slept with the louvre windows open in mid June. Temp was perfect. We could hear the ocean outside. It was close to food trucks for dinner. The black sand beach was about 1-2 minutes from the door. This was a 1 night stay for us on our road to Hana trip. Highly recommend for an easy RTH round trip!

Great stay, great views

We stayed at this property for one night prior to heading back to the states. This property was represented very well in the listing and lived up to our expectation. The view from the lanai was outstanding! Bed was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. it was also nice to have coffee and tea available for the time we were there. Was close to the food trucks and all the beaches in that area. Manager was very accessible for anything that we needed and responded promptly with a small problem we had with our booking.(it was not their problem) I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Hana area. Thanks
