Beverly Beach Overlook - Oregon Beach Vacations

Beverly Beach Overlook is a three-level home that sits high on a bluff overlooking Beverly Beach. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of some whales or a cruise ship. This vacation home is located at the very north end of Newport, near the Beverly Beach State Park exit. This vacation home has three bedrooms: two king beds, and one with two twin beds; three bathrooms, one with a shower, and two tub-shower combos. This luxurious vacation rental has room for six guests and up to two dogs. The main living space includes the living room, kitchen, and dining room and is located above the garage. There is a large ocean-view bedroom on this main level with a king bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances for the perfect family gathering or holiday dinner. Upstairs, you will find the primary room with a 180-degree ocean view and an adorable bedroom with a twin bed. There are blackout curtains in all of the bedrooms in case you want to sleep in while at your home away from home. This vacation rental has sweeping ocean views from every room in the home, a recreation room for the kids and the kids at heart, and an enclosed deck for everyone to hang out on and enjoy some fresh air. Each bedroom contains a flat screen TV, plus additional TVs in the living room, recreation room, and loft. This home offers Wi-Fi, an iPod docking station, CD players, radio, a DVD collection, games, books, and very comfortable furnishings. The loft is a cozy TV viewing space with two recliners and a sofa sleeper. The recreation room is on the lower level of the home. Beach access is a short five to seven minute walk down to Beverly Beach State Park and is accessible under Hwy 101, so there are no worries about having to cross the busy roadway with children. Great Stay

Beautiful view. Not enough time to take full advantage of the great game room. Stocked perfectly for everything we needed. Loved the layout, everyone enjoyed their own privacy. Highly recommend a stay here

Beverly house

Kitchen was fun to cook in, clean, well organized. All bedrooms had comfortable beds and soft sheets and pillows. Loved the view.

Lots of stairs!!! Gorgeous views

Beautiful property, pool table was a nice touch, TV was awesome, Spectrum internet was buffering during programs, happens, running up and down stairs to take doggies out was quite a workout, we’re retired lol, but found new muscles!! Main floor mattress was not comfortable, moved to 3rd floor and that was perfect! Put a puzzle together, haven’t done one in years, fun!! Drove to Beverly Beach a couple times and went to Nye beach. Has Abby deliver a pizza on first night, it was delicious, driver was pleasant. Cooked clam spaghetti and regular spaghetti, cooked omelettes drank good wine, kitchen was set up nicely, I would fire cabinet installer’s!! As a retired electrician I notice stuff, lol.

Newport Oregon/Beverly Beach Gem

This home feels like a true escape to the beach. It has everything you could need, and offers a wonderful walk to a nearby State Beach. It's a short hop into Newport fo lunch, dinner, an aquarium or lighthouse visit etc. Super and all of the planning was easy and convenient.. right down to the personalized door code!

Incredible views

Dog friendly house with incredible views and lots of character. The state park is currently closed for construction but when it opens up again it will be walking distance to the beach. Easy drive to Newport.

Enjoying retirement

We came to the ocean for storms and we were not disappointed. The views from this house were incredible. Almost every room had a view. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants serenity.

Comfortable, clean, great view

My family loved this house. My kids had a great time playing pool. The house being three levels was lovely so kids could get space from each other when needed. House was very clean. View was spectacular. Walk to Beverly Beach was easy.

House itself was great with a fully stocked kitchen and was very clean. My issue (and why I gave it 3/5 stars) is with the deception of it being beachfront property. It is absolutely NOT. Property pictures were taken at just the right angles to where you can’t see the entire HIGHWAY that is in between the house and the beach. You need to walk a solid 15-20 mins and cross two main roads to get to the beach. Not a great walk if you have small children or anyone with mobility issues. We were willing to pay the steep nightly rate for the beachfront reason, and that’s the one thing I didn’t get. Had the property description/pictures accurately depicted the distance to the beach and the price reflected that, it would have been perfect. Unfortunately, I feel like I got duped, and for the price we paid we could have *actually* gotten a house closer to the beach.

Absolutely wonderful!

We have rented houses on the Oregon Coast for over 20 years now and this was one of the very best. We have never had a better view and the house itself was lovely. Tons of space, beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed for cooking and relaxation. It really helped to have warm, sunny days while we were there. The location was perfect as well. Close to Newport, Depot Bay and Lincoln City but it felt like we were worlds away from the hustle of the larger beach cities. The only thing I would consider if you are thinking of renting this house is if there are any mobility issues with your group. There are a lot of stairs. We were fine but our older dogs couldn’t use the stairs and had to stay in the lower level. We often have our parents along with us and I know my father would not do well on the stairs.

Great view but NOT for young families OR worth the extra cost.

Let's start by saying the view was nice and the game room on the third level was great. However, I was surprised by the rest of our experience based on the description and other reviews. We chose to splurge and spend extra on this location instead of choosing a nice house that was half the cost. We were sorely disappointed in a few areas. First, the "short" walk to the beach is not as short as it seems and it is not a good walk for young kids. The photos make it look like the beach is close and it is NOT. You have to walk down to the state park and cross over there to get to the beach. The road you take does not have a good walking path especially when you are walking with two young kids (we thought it was closer and safe to walk there). Next, the "well stocked" kitchen everyone mentioned is NOT as well stocked, as I had to purchase basic measuring cups and a few other items that were not in the kitchen. Also, the pans are very well used and need to be replaced as the teflon is coming off. Don't expect to be able to grill because the "shotty so to speak of" grill is not useful and is small. You might be able to cook about 4 hot dogs on it and that is about it. It is also a charcoal grill and not gas. The house was not spotless or clean as we read in other reviews, there was dog hair in many spots that ended up in our food, and left over dog food under the couches, the shower curtain liners need to be replaced or cleaned better. The carpeted areas need to be shampooed or replaced as they are dingy and not very clean. For the cleaning fee we have to pay I and based on the reviews, again I expected better. The outside door knobs should be replaced, the outside faucet to rinse your feet off and other items from the beach does not work and needs to be fixed. The septic system, according to them, does not work well, so not only can you not use the big soaker tub, they ask you to space out your showers and not take any baths (which is difficult with young kids). The wifi did not work and there is not good cell reception either. To top it off the one day we had planned to stay at the house and play board games and enjoy the view was ruined by construction noise/gravel trucks etc. at the house next door. So for the extra cost we paid we thought we were getting extra nice things and ended up not being the case. We are very disappointed and feel bummed we spent the extra money.

Great family vacation and Xmas get away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely home overlooking Beverly Beach. Amazing Views! Plenty of room for 7 of us plus our two English Bulldogs. Did have the share the bathroom next to the master suite with the 2 guys but everyone was chill about this. Also have to organize your showers due to some plumbing issues. Kitchen was nicely stocked and we made lovely seafood dinners every night. Played games at the table, did yoga in the living room and even was able to set up my bike trainer in the game room. Very comfortable beds and linens.
