Enjoyed our stay.

Just about Paradise was a nice place to stay, plenty of room for our family. Enjoyed use of the hot tub and fire pit. The location was great, close to a lot of activities.

Payne Family weekend

The accommodations were perfect for our family. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was no heat in the basement and the four people sleeping in the basement were cold, but we gathered up the extra blankets for them. Everything else was great. My grandkids loved the hot tub and foosball table. We would love to return. We noticed the smoke detector in the basement was missing and there is a fairly large tear on top of the soda. One suggestion is door mats inside all of doors leading outside. A larger mat in the basement would be helpful during winter. Thank you!

Long weekend too short

Enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave this morning! Very comfortable beds, great hot tub, well equipped kitchen (but no coffee filters). Enjoyed hanging out on the back deck gazing at the stars and on the front porch with nice wooded lake views.

Just About Paradise did not dissapoint

House was great. Very comfy for accommodating so many. Only downfalls (Grill did not work well and oven door was bent). Fire place is out in the front yard and plenty of seating. House is well maintained and plenty of parking (Front and back). We had a great time and house has a great view, quiet, and secluded.

Bennett 3 Day getaway

The hot tub was a big hit. The upstairs stayed warm while the downstairs was too cold. the living room was smaller than we expected, but we made it work. The rugs were pretty stained and in fairness it rained the whole time but there should be something at the back door to stop shoes from tracking in leaves and mud. We did enjoy our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost the people behind the phone lines at Taylor-Made Vacations are AMAZING! I must have called 20 times before/during my stay for simple questions and they helped with every single one! This property had a wonderful view of the lake (however there was no lake access). Overall this property had great views and a lot of space so I'm happy; was a little dirty in terms on a view spider webs here and there with dead bugs caught in them. The hot tub was dirty prior to us using it (we sat down and felt dirt/grit on the seats) and the bees are RELENTLESS, we ended up having to place several bait cups filled with sweet drinks for them to leave us alone. Also, the first night someone bumped their head on the rocks by the firepit and we could not find a first aid kit ANYWHERE on the property so were forced to clean his wound with whatever we had laying around.

Disappointed and unclean

We arrived at the property around 4:45pm and the door did not open. I called and got that sorted. Afterwards, noticed that the water was not coming from the kitchen and bathrooms and the water was turned off. Had to shovel front and back path ourselves and had to ask for snow melts. Urine smell in upper floor couch. Carpets on upper and basement floors had lots of stains and the cleaning crew must have not done a good job cleaning. Found baby socks and towel near the living room sofa. The coffee pot was not cleaned or the filters. There were utensils with egg crust etc. Found a alive/dead mice in the basement. For the price you pay it is not up to standards. I felt very dirty the whole time we were there. Read reviews before you book, and ask a lot of questions.

Great House With Seasonal Views of Lake

Great rental house! Our entire family enjoyed the house, especially the fire-pit and hot tub. The carpet could use a steam clean, but this place is very nice for a cabin in the woods and pet friendly.

Quick Getaway

The house was perfect for our quick getaway! The boys claimed the downstairs as theirs... was the perfect Man cave . Everything we needed was right there. The only complaint was the Tv’s did not work something with the signal but honestly only a problem late at night when settling down for bed . Overall great experience and talking about our next trip already !

A Magical Gaming Birthday for my Sister

This property was perfect for what we had hoped to accomplish- a gathering of close friends to relax and play table top games. It was the perfect amount of rooms for the group, and the large dining room table was perfect for our set up. When we weren't gaming there, we were hanging out in the upstairs living room or in the hot tub. I personally enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub in the downstairs double bed room. When we did have issues with the house (fridge died and plowing because it snowed), Taylor-made Rentals arrived in a very reasonable time, and was very pro-active to help with any of our needs. Just a warning, YOU WILL NEED a 4x4 vehicle to access this home during winter in case of snow fall. Even with one, after a couple of inches, I had to wait for a plow to scrape the drive way in order to return to the house. Overall, the experience was very pleasurable. It has a very unique and beautiful view of the lake, and the double drive ways at the home made load in and load out very easy for the group.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I had the BEST time in the Just About Paradise vaca home! We enjoyed the space so very much. The porch swing, grill, fire pit, hot tub and the kitchen were the sites of some great memories! I would most definitely rent this home again! The home is very spacious and was clean except for the dead bugs in the master bedroom on the first level. The garbage disposal wasn't working, so the sink on the left was backed up. The lights in the kitchen and dining area went out a couple of times, but came back on with a flip of the circuit switch. Also, it was freezing on the first level of the home. Turning up the thermostat just made the 2nd level hot! Overall, there weren't any issues with the house that prevented us from enjoying our vaca! FYI - I strongly recommend 4 wheel drive if you are using the house in the colder months! The driveway is a beast! It was raining pretty bad the first night we were there, and my husband's truck struggled a bit to make it up the driveway (it's on a hill).
