Kotimme on erittÀin mukava, tyylikkÀÀsti sisustettu, enemmÀn kuin tÀysin varusteltu ja mukautuva perhe- ja ystÀvÀryhmille. Kaikki vieraamme rakastavat sitÀ ja sanovat usein "kuvat eivÀt tee sitÀ oikein".

PÀÀkerroksessa on katedraalin katot, iso olohuone, ruokasali ja keittiö keskisaarella. SekÀ olohuoneen takka ettÀ ruokasalin liesi ovat puulÀmmitteisiÀ.
RuokapöydÀn paikkaa 12 ja 7 lisÀistuinta keittiökeskuksen saarella ja aamiaiskaokon pöydÀssÀ. Minulla on myös ylimÀÀrÀinen pöytÀ ja taitettavat tuolit.

PÀÀkerroksessa on 2 makuuhuonetta, molemmissa queen-vuodetta ja ylÀkerrassa on 1 kylpyamme. Alakerrassa on 2 kylpyhuonetta, 1 king, 1 kuningatar ja kerrossÀnky, jossa 2 erillistÀ sÀnkyÀ parivuodepankkien yli. Minulla on myös pari kÀÀnnettÀvÀÀ sÀnkyÀ, kuningatar ilmapatja ja pack'n play, syöttötuoli, vauvamonitori, portaiden portit pienimmille. TÀysi pesula on myös alakerrassa.

Talo on tÀysin varustettu liinavaatteilla, keittiönalustoilla, paperituotteilla, kylpytuotteilla / hiustenkuivaajilla. TV / VCR / DVD-yhdistelmÀ olohuoneessa, toinen TV / DVD ylÀkerran makuuhuoneessa ja TV / VCR / DVD kerrossÀnkyssÀ. Stereot, kirjat, pelit, DVD / nauhat .....

Polttopuut ja lumenpoisto toimitetaan talvella. Auraamme talvella edessÀ, joten tasaiselle alustalle on riittÀvÀ pysÀköinti noin 4 autolle ja autotalli.

SiellÀ on 2 kalustettua kannetta - suuri yksi aidatulla takapihalla (puutalolla) ja pieni edessÀ. SiellÀ on Weber-kaasugrilli.

Olemme aivan Tahoe Cityn ulkopuolella 89: stÀ. Sen 10 minuuttia Squaw Valley ja Alpine Meadows hiihtoalueille. Kotipuu (alueen pieni jalokivi) on kÀytÀnnössÀ vieressÀ. Granlibakkenissa on kelkkamÀki, joka on 5 minuutin pÀÀssÀ tÀÀltÀ. GranlibakkenillÀ on myös pieni, oppiva hiihtomÀki.

Mother/Daughter Trip

We stayed at this Tahoe City home with a big group of adults and teens. The set up was perfect with two bedrooms upstairs and three down - giving everyone ample space with adults upstairs and teens down. The location was perfect and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Irene was a very communicative host. Would stay again!

We had planned a day trip only for the kids to learn how snowboard. When I ran across her home on VRBO. Perfect Location for Palisades Tahoe

Our group of 10 had an amazing stay at this Tahoe home. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had a warm, homey feel that made us feel right at ease. There were plenty of beds for everyone, and the layout was perfect for a group looking to relax after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen was well-equipped and made meal prep easy, and the quiet neighborhood added to the peaceful ambiance. Plus, the location was fantastic—just a short drive to Palisades Tahoe for skiing. There’s also a shuttle stop down the street if you don’t want to drive up. Safeway is a few minutes away as well. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient mountain retreat!

Roomy Tahoe City Rental

This home was a good size for my big family - children to grandchildren. From the bedrooms to living areas, we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked, & we enjoyed using the barbeque. The location was within driving distance to the beach, river rafting, Tahoe City (miniature golf-restaurants) & a nice playground for the kiddos. We all enjoyed our stay!

Girls Birthday weekend

Had a great time in Tahoe! Tons of snow. The girls had a blast with their friends skiing and sledding. The cabin was huge and very cozy at the same time. It was perfectly located near Tahoe City. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would come back for sure.

Great Tahoe Cabin in Great Location

We rent frequently up in Tahoe 1-2 weekends a month during ski season. This place has a ton of beds to sleep, spacious, and a great cabin vibe. Also less than a mile from Tahoe City and a short car ride to Palisades/Alpine. Will definitely rent again! The pictures do not do it justice.

wonderful, well-appointed home

We stayed at the bear lodge for a ski weekend (a large group of friends with kids), and we all very much enjoyed our stay, those who spent the day on the slopes and came back to hot showers and warm fireplaces, and those of us who spent the day around the house -- relaxing and reading in comfortable armchairs and on cozy sofas. It felt like home.

Great spot for a big group!

My friends and I stayed in Irene's cabin for a ski trip to Palisades tahoe. The cabin was very conveniently located right by tahoe city, which made it an easy drive to the resorts. The property was very well maintained and there were plenty of beds for everyone. Irene was very responsive about communications. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful area

The house was nice, spacious enough for our family, friends and kids. The best fence was a little intimidating, and the branches and snow that fell off the roof scared some of us, but the owner informed us of everything well in advance and we were all fully aware of the possibilities. Well taken care of with more than enough information and help from the owner

Great house for large group on ski holiday

This is a perfect house for 3 or 4 families going on a ski vacation. There are lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds, and enough bathrooms and showers to accommodate a large number of people. The house is clean with lots of living space to play games and hang out. Of special note is the large very well-stocked kitchen. We were able to make shared meals and desserts -- there are all sizes and kinds of pans, pots, and baking dishes. Also, great communication with the host. Thank you Irene!

Great house and location

We recently stayed at this vacation rental with family and friends. I thought the property was excellent and in a great location. The rooms were nicely kept and maintained, and the unit had everything as mentioned in the listing. The kitchen was also well equipped, making cooking meals easy for our group. Due to the snow, the side entrance was inaccessible, so the lower-level rooms were only accessible after going through the top level. Another small issue was that checkout could be easier. After paying so much in cleaning fees, I don't want to wash and dry all the linens. Overall, however, this is a pretty good property for large families.

College Graduation Getaway

The layout of the house was perfect for our large group and was especially accommodating to different schedules. The noise from the upstairs does not travel at all to the downstairs bedrooms, which was great for both the night owls and early risers. The kitchen is well stocked with every size and type of pan, serving dish and utensil. Everyone enjoyed the location as well. It is a short walk into Tahoe City and the lake, plus the house is conveniently located near major roads. The bear fence is a little intimidating, but Irene provided very thorough instructions that even included photos.

Great location!

Fabulous spot walking distance to hiking trails, Tahoe City, and the lake. A quick drive to Alpine or Palisades. Having some of the bedrooms downstairs was great for putting kids to bed. The layout is kind of weird with two separate staircases, but the rooms were all nice, the kitchen had everything we need, and tons of seating for a large group. The deck was spacious and great for everyone to hang outside and grill. While we were there there happened to be a ton of pollen falling from all the pine trees in the yard, so we had to wipe furniture off every time we used it. Tons of towels and bathroom supplies. I'd definitely stay again! Thanks!

Great stay

House was wonderful, 3 rooms in the first floor 2 rooms in the second floor. Big full kitchen and awesome dining table. It was a perfect place for 3 family gathering. 10-15min drive from Alpine/SquawValley. It seems there are bears around. We didn't lock the car door (no food inside) and we found bear footprint inside the car while door was opened in the morning. So, don't leave the car door unlocked. Irene provided very detailed information before our arrival and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Looking forward to visiting this house again in the future.

Great place and location

When I was looking for a cabin to rent for the 4th of July weekend, I needed to make sure that it had at least 4 bedrooms, Wi-Fi, a fenced back yard, a deck, a barbecue, in a good location and enough room in the kitchen area for our big group to play games and eat meals together. This cabin met all those requirements and more!! Not only did the cabin have all that, it was fully stocked with all necessary pots, pans, mixing bowls, appliances, glassware, silverware, cookware and all paper products. I usually bring up my big sauté' pans that I am used to cooking in and big pots for boiling pasta. You do not need to worry about brining any of that to this cabin. This cabin is stocked with the best of equipment. Our dogs really enjoyed the back yard and we really enjoyed being out on the back deck, barbecuing and eating dinner. There is also a deck off the family room that overlooks the lake side and it was so nice to sit out in the morning and have our coffee and visit. The family room furniture is so comfortable and inviting. The Wi-Fi was great as we had iPads and laptops. There was never a problem with the connection. There were beach chairs and beach towels to use so we didn't have to bring our own from home. The location was only about 1 mile from Tahoe City. What a beautiful cabin and the owners were easy to work with. We would rent this cabin again!! Thank you for making this cabin so warm and inviting.

We bought our 2nd family home in Tahoe City twenty plus years ago and spend many happy, fun times throughout the year there with our children, grandchildren and friends. It’s a big house, with plenty of space for gathering in the open kitchen and living area on the main floor as well as private bedrooms for the adults to get away and plenty of room in the 4 bed+ bunk room for the kids.
We do enjoy sharing our home with the “perfect guests” who we feel will appreciate it, take care of it and love it as much as we do. We like to feel we know our guests and they us.
We do allow pets as we understand wanting to bring our fur babies along on family vacations, AND we know the toll even perfect pets take on a house. With the brand new flooring throughout the house, we are limiting the number of pets to 2 dogs.
