Too many issues and poorly managed for what we paid.
Too many issues. Self-managed with no phone number to call, only msg.
Tried to inform 'mgt' as feedback that cleaners weren't doing good job & quickly learned that the owner was the 'mgr' and she apparently took offense at our feedback. Accused us of seeking a refund.
I have pics. Couch was filthy (food & even a used q-tip under the cushions), silverware and dishes were dirty, pile of stuff under the sink was very dirty, downstairs was musty (maybe not really used much?), it was very dirty under the master bed. Fireplace was full of ashes and had a pile of debris on the hearth just in front the doors that looked like the cleaner had forgotten to pick up. There was wood outside, but no fireplace shovel or even matches for the fireplace. There was used toothpaste and mouthwash in the medicine cabinets. The bathroom towels smelled bad on first use. The HVAC air intake right in your face as you entered the cabin was covered with dust/cobwebs even though it was so easily accessible for cleaning. Not what would be expected for the price we paid.
There was a rain leak in the BR. Dripping on daughter. Took time out from day to meet owner & show where the leak was but owner broke contact & stood me up & never replied back after promising to be there before 4. We had to contact VRBO from then on. Didn't work well.
Missing smoke detectors and probs with shower control. was easy to get too hot.
Still waiting to hear back from VRBO on our complaint.
