The good: The location was excellent to get to all the attractions we wanted to hit- City Museum, the Arch, the beautiful Central Library, and the zoo. Having a half bath was really helpful for getting ready in the morning, and rare in this kind of dwelling. The yard was great for our dog and we were grateful there were no extra fees to have her. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt comfortable there. The not-so-good: The inside of the place is in rough shape, and there is a smell of what we could only call (unused) scented cat litter. It has clung to us and our belongings and is still there on some items (including our daughter's hair, despite multiple showers) almost a week later. The cabinet under the kitchen sink was fairly moldy. The fridge froze a lot of our food that we brought, even being set on the warmest setting. There were a few rough boards with nails on the way to the back bedroom and we had to caution our kiddos not to get snagged on them. We're thankful for a last-minute place that allowed us to have a very nice time in town at an affordable price. A few updates/fixes might make it a bit more accommodating.
