Tilava 5 BR / 3 BA Pocono Chalet piilopaikkaan

Kaunis maalaismainen viisi makuuhuone (7 TV), kolme tason chalet arvostetun piilopaikkaan aidatulla neljän tähden yhteisön Pennsylvania Poconos. Tämä chalet sijaitsee vastapäätä Brooks järven kauden järvinäköala. Tämä on perheystävällinen koti, jossa on kaksi sateenvarjo-rattaat ja kannettavat pakkaus-n-leikkeet.

Keittiö on hyvin varustettu levyt, astiat, astiat, lasit, sekä ruokailutila baari 3 mukautetun setri ulosteet. 32 jalkainen etukansi on täydellinen paikka kesällä grillit ja rentouttava perheen tai ystävien kanssa. On olemassa kaksi metallipöytiä, joissa on tuolit - istuen 12 henkilöä. Lisäksi on 8 jalkainen puupöytä ja irrotettava penkki istuimet, vielä 6 henkilöä. Kahvilassa on kaksi grilliä, aivan keittiön ja pääovien ulkopuolella. Talossa on myös 3 sarjaa golfmailoja käytettäväksi (paikan päällä) kurssi.

Piilopaikka yhteisö on useita ravintoloita ja viihdettä, sekä lukuisia palveluja, kuten golf (9 reikää), uinti (2 lämmitettyä allasta ja 3 järveä), Tiki bar näköala järvelle, ulkona / tenniskentät, kuntosali, pelihuone, baseball kenttä, koripallokenttä, soutuveneitä ja kanootteja voi vuokrata, Kädentaito keskus ja päivittäistä toimintaa lapsille ja perheille. Overall we had a great stay! It was very spacious with 9 guests. Great location, in walking distance of one of the lakes to take in the view. Small car ride to the pool and part of the lake you can swim in. Had an amazing time in the swimming area. Tiki bar was enjoyable as well. The hosts were very responsive prior and after the trip.

Best first trip to the lake

Our families had a wonderful first experience at the Hideout! The house was the perfect fit and included everything we needed to feel at home for our visit. Information/pamphlets and guest passes were made easily available for amenities within the Hideout and locally around the area of Lake Ariel. Loved having the initial guest book when our trip was confirmed - very detailed and informative! Bob & Sharon have a lovely home and are wonderful hosts!

Nice community. Not very clean

The hideout is cute and the lake is very relaxing. Also nice to have the pool as an option. This place was not very clean. Dirt and dust everywhere. Dead bugs under the beds. The beds on the main floor also very poor quality. One felt like just a boxspring. Host was very nice and easy to reach.

Our stay with extended family was great! All the bedrooms and sleeping options were great for our 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The house and community had so much to offer it was great to do so much without spending a lot of extra money. Service was spotty so we were thankful for reliable wifi. The check in process was lengthy and their system couldn’t find our reservation at first which was a bit stressful, thankfully the property manager was immediately responsive and we got situated, but the toddlers were a hot mess waiting for us to get all of our vehicles and licenses into their system. It did take us a bit to get oriented to the community amenities, but once we did it was great! The only other negative was the basement sliding door wasn’t very secure, it seemed easily opened even when locked.

Check-in was easy and the house looked just like the photos, which we appreciated. However, there were a few things that the listing didn’t capture that impacted our stay. The basement had a strong musty smell, and the bedroom carpets were noticeably damp when we arrived. The dehumidifier was already full, which suggested this wasn’t a new issue. We ended up running it constantly and emptying it daily just to keep the space usable.There were also some cleaning oversights — toothpaste on the bathroom wall on the main floor, old water stains on the ceiling (which didn't help the overall feel of the house already), very heavy dust in spots on the deck (along with a dead bird that had clearly been there for a while), and a screen door that didn’t stay on its track. We even found leftover clothes in a drawer upstairs, which made it feel like the space hadn’t been fully reset for guests.The house worked overall, but at this price point in a community like The Hideout, the bar is a bit higher. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this place could be great. Right now, it just feels like it's falling short of its potential.Thank you

Life Group Get-away

Home's location is great. Guests can see the end of Brookfield Lake and have easy access to stroll around it. Home was large enough to accommodate our party of 8 for both dining and sleeping needs.

Great group getaway

This was a really fun house to stay in, perfect for our group which included 3 families--parents and kids. It had all we needed.A few things were challenging: the gated community the property is located in was a pain to get into and the vibe felt weird to us. It was not easy communicating with the management company when we needed to change the roster of who was coming. The driveway was too steep and icy for my little Prius to climb when we arrived so I parked on the street, and got a ticket from the gated community for my troubles. So not a perfect weekend.

Great Place, Great Amenities

Amazing wood work through the home made it feel like a cabin. Such fun juke box, pool table and shuffle board to thwart any boredom in a rain storm! Lake was so close with nice beach and pool (oh and a tiki bar)!! We even went to 10th hole on the golf course and had lunch at the pub and mini-golfed! Recommend for a family getaway!

Beautiful Scenery

The area and home are perfect for a quiet getaway. The basement is man cave ready and there are tons of family board games to play. Everton was simply and the team was super polite.

Absolutely the best vacation!

The house was amazing and the host Bob was beyond what I expected! There was so much to do in the house, around the community and areas around Pennsylvania. The only disappointment was the beds, not that comfy, but other than that it was perfect, can't wait to come back!!!!

The house was nice. It wasn't quite as secluded as we had expected. Getting checked into the gated community took some time as there was a long line of people waiting to register. The property manager was very helpful and quick to get back to us.

Great spot in the Hideout

This was our 4th or 5th year staying at this property, and we again had a great stay. They layout is perfect for a multi-generational group. The massive kitchen table allowed us to eat all meals together, and the multiple levels allowed us to spread out when we needed to. The owner was extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out the fireplace controls, as was the property manager. We definitely recommend!

Lovely location - spacious home

The Hideout was a beautiful location for a relaxed family vacation and this home was spacious and our family of 9 fit comfortably. We found some issues with the cleanliness of the house (grass clippings in basement bedrooms, cobwebs in corners of bedrooms, broken window that leaked slightly with rain, moldy bathroom rug), although it didn’t feel dirty, just not properly maintained and the grill was just about unusable due to build up of food residue and grease, but overall it was a comfortable home that suited our needs.

Super clean home, lots of sleep space. Has a game room.

Had an amazing weekend in bobs property. There was plenty of sleep space and unlike many of the other homes this house had 4 bedrooms with queen sized beds which was perfect for us since we had 4 couples and didn’t have to pick straws to sleep on a bunk bed. The house has a pool table and shuffle board table in the game room. 3 bathrooms was also a big plus and a huge dinning table. The community ski slopes are only a 4 minute drive we had a blast can’t wait to go back.

Great house for large groups.

We had a ladies weekend at this property. The house was perfect for our group of 11. We had space for everyone and didn’t feel crowded. There were lots of games that we didn’t have a chance to use, pool table, indoor shuffle board and air hockey. The juke box was a fun addition to have. It rained the whole weekend, so we weren’t able to sit out on the deck. Over all a great stay.

Relaxing fall vacation

Spent a long weekend in this beautiful home. House was equipped with everything a family could need. Nice furnishings and tasteful mountain decor. Downstairs game room and bedroom set up was perfect for the kids! Located in the Hideout section of Lake Ariel it was a quiet community with some cool Amenities that will make us come back in the summer. The house was clean upon arrival however had to wipe the kitchen down a little better and some bedrooms could use a deep clean around the beds and mattresses. The owner was kind and so responsive , book this house you won’t be disappointed!

Lots of room for a multi-family vacation

Location is great, and the house has plenty of room for a large group. It's an older home, and there appears to be some deferred maintenance, but we were comfortable in it for the week. It definitely could have been cleaner upon arrival. Most of the mattresses are very hard, so we piled blankets under the sheets to soften them up a bit. The teenagers loved the game room! The owner and management agency were responsive when I had problems with the wifi and when one of the kids accidentally locked us out of one of the bedrooms. All in all, it was a nice stay.

My wife and I purchased the house in 2009 as a second home. We wanted our two children to grow up enjoying the outdoors. We chose the Poconos because it has something to offer for all four seasons.

The size of the house was perfect for us - 5 BR, 3 bath. We love how we can have friends/family up and each group could have their own floor of living space with a bathroom located on each of the three floors. We also love the location and the large deck.

We enjoy the lower level with the jukebox and pool table. It allows the kids, the men/women or everyone to go to the lower level if others wish to stay on the main level in a more quiet environment.
