Dune Refuge on 3 br / 2. 5 kylpy, joka mahtuu 10.

Dune Refuge on 3 makuuhuoneen Gulf Shores / Fort Morgan -rantahotelli, josta on esteettömät näkymät lahdelle ja rannalle. Talo on lähellä villieläinten turvapaikkaa, joten talon edessä tai itään ei ole kehitystä! Voit kävellä mailia kehittymättömästä rannasta ja kokea rannan sellaisena kuin se oli 50 vuotta sitten. Rantatalon takaovesta on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rantatie. Tämä Fort Morganin rantatalo ei ole kaukana Gulf Shoresin, Alabama, toiminnasta. Itse asiassa se on vain 8 mailin päässä Hwy 59: stä Gulf Shoresissa. Dune Refuge on uusittu rantatalo, jolla on upeat katetut kuistit nauttiaksesi aaltojen näkymästä ja äänestä. Laatat koko alemmalla tasolla ja graniitti työtasot antavat talolle puhtaan ja ylellisen tunnelman.

This property is gorgeous. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra day! The view to the ocean is obstructeded by a large bush which does takeaway some of the view, but not all of it. It didn't ruin our stay by any means. That is our only complaint. The boardwalk to the beach is brand new and very nice. Sure helps when you have multiple carts. We will definitely go back again when in the area. Cannot say enough about the customer service, that is a huge plus. Jason, Kim, Lorri and Jim

No issues with the house itself and we overall enjoyed our stay. Prickett Properties was responsive and accommodating, we would rent through them again! As far as the surrounding area of this property, I do want to point out that the beach access beside the house is public and frequently used! The public access/walkway also runs beside the master bedroom, so you can hear noise from people just talking who are walking by (especially local fishermen who arrive before 6AM - so keep that in mind). Additionally, the trash cans for the community and beach are all right outside this house across the street and created a smell. We also encountered a storm during our stay and a lot of trash was then blown by the wind onto the property from the trash cans being left open by others.

The location was wonderful; very short walk to beach. Weekends and holidays there are many people who access the beach at this location but it is still not crowded; weekdays are very quiet and usually only a few people. The house is nice.Unfortunately, the house had many unresolved issues, such as damage to walls, back door and doorknob needs replacing or repair, incomplete wiring repairs in kitchen area; extremely slow draining bathtubs; rusty dishwasher with sprung door and detergent compartment door not releasing detergent in cycle. The cleanliness was severely lacking. I had to clean the kitchen sink and upstairs bathtub. The walls and baseboards are dusty and dirty. The house was not in a condition that warranted the price we paid.Management has been made aware of these issues and I believe intends to address them.

Great house but needs TLC. There were electrical issues and the AC could not keep it cool. They were working on the boardwalk so getting to the beach was a pain. Didn't make anybody's list to stay again.

Awesome Beachfront Home

This house is on the edge of a nature preserve, so it is very quiet and secluded. We got the beach in front of the house to ourselves most days. Watching the Gulf from the porch was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay

Needed a last minute getaway and this property checked all the boxes. Secluded, incredible views and peaceful. Communication with the host was outstanding. We will be back.

Amazing!

The house was great! It was clean with lots of room and great views of the ocean. There really aren't any neighbors close by so you felt like you had the beach to yourself. We will definitely be back!

Great beach getaway!

Great trip & Prickett Properties was terrific to deal with. The house served our needs perfectly & the views were incredible. Very non commercial area. The beach was nice & many great restaurants were close. Prickett also recommended High Waves for beach chair rentals, etc. & they were top notch! Excellent service & I definitely recommend using them for any beach needs you have. Excellent trip all around & already planning to go back!

The Dunes

The house was beautiful. We loved the set up with the 2 sets of stairs and wrap around porch. It was just beautiful. The beach was not crowded at all. We went with 4 adults, 6 children ages 15-5, and 2 dogs! We had a BLAST! REALLY wish that the walkway from the house to the beach was fixed. I had read about this in the reviews prior to leaving on our trip, and the construction guys were still there, and they DO start early. You can hear the beeping of the equipment when they back them up. Woke us up multiple days. It is quite a "hike" to the beach having to use the detour since the walkway is out. Also, I was really disappointed about the huge bush/tree/shrubbery that was directly off the back porch completely obstructing the view of the ocean. Overall, the property was great. We did contact Maintenace on the very last day because there was moisture accumulating on the ceiling of the downstairs master bedroom. Turns out the July humidity was making the AC pipes sweat. Overall experience was great. Would stay again. Prickett Properties was also amazing and helped with payment issues and anything else we needed! Great folks! Thanks, from Oklahoma!

Great Place!

The house was awesome and clean. We had everything we needed. It was nice and quiet. The only minor complaint I have has nothing to do with the house. The wooden walkway that led to the beach was closed for repairs. Kinda looked like it has been that way for awhile. We had to take to trail to the beach that was harder for my wife to walk in. The property was great all in all just a further walk to the beach than expected.

Great location, inside of house was clean, we did have to buy Windex and clean the outside of the windows to be able to fully enjoy the view. Overall would highly recommend.

Location is amazing....house.....not so much

If you are looking for peaceful dune living, this is your place! Can't beat the location. But upon arrival we weren't the only occupants (roaches!). The house was NOT clean. Cobwebs, dirty windows, every kitchen surface and table were dirty. There was NO soap in the house. We went and purchased many cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves. Also, this is a beach house (VERY BASIC) and we rented it in December. There were NO blankets and the house was freezing. Only light sheets. We had to go and buy warm blankets for all the beds. This is something management needs to fix for renters in winter. The house needs an update. The rug in the kitchen was threadbare. The shag rug in the living room was dirty. The carpet on the stairs (yes carpet) was matted and worn. My mother in law found burrs matted into her bedroom carpet upstairs. The house definitely needs a total makeover. Bring EVERYTHING. There wasn't even a laundry basket to use for laundry. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. No paper towels. All in all, the location is amazing, but the house itself is subpar.

Very secluded and well appointed

The only con was we could not see the sunset from the house. There is a huge overgrown bush in the way. The sofa needs to be replaced. Everything else was a plus. The kitchen was very well appointed and everything in the house functioned as it should. The beach was fantastic.

Good time-but need improvements!

Pros: We had a terrific time at this home. Master Bedroom had a King Size bed as advertised. Bedroom #2 & #3 had cute little nooks below the windows. Plenty of room to move and lots of storage. Nice location, short walk to the beach. There were 2 extra blankets in the master closet. Very thankful for those as I was cold! Lots of storage in the kitchen. Refrigerator/freezer worked well. Wonderful communication with Daniel Prickett Property team. They were very nice, responsive and professional. Cons: Bedroom #2 did NOT have a Queen sized bed. It was a Full at best, which was a little cramped for my Daughter and her 6’4 husband. The carpet going up the stairs and in the bedrooms was atrocious and embarrassing. The kitchen table was extremely wobbly (my husband tightened the screws and that seemed to fix it.) The fabric on the dining chairs was very worn and stained. Having raised 5 kids i understand fabric on chairs get stained; however for a vrbo I would recommend NOT having fabric on the chairs if they are not going to be cleaned. The kitchen had a Navajo-type rug on the floor, which it seems the purpose of the rug was to cover the broken tile underneath. Was not pleasant to walk in the little area as with each step we heard the pieces of tile crunching…gross. The sofa in the living room was uncomfortable to sit on, and certainly not comfortable for sleeping. appeared to be old, worn and very used. Fridge & Stove were pretty rough.

Review

If you're looking for a house close to the beach but not on the beach, good access but not private access, and have no dogs or no intention of taking dogs to the beach, its a great property. Problem is that the house is in wildlife management land. House says dog friendly but as soon as you get there, there are signs everywhere that say no dogs on beach and you cant be on the beach at night as you would disturb the sea turtles. We called and check with the property manager as soon as we saw and they said it was allowed....but we were stopped the first 2 days by people patrolling the beach which said it absolutely isn't. Not the best place for kids either as it appears the public access is very busy with tons of fisherman, plus when you cant go down at night and looks for crabs. All in all, if dogs or kids, would not recommend

Issues

The toilet in the master bathroom was not working when we arrived. We called maintenance and it was repaired promptly. In the bedroom upstairs with the bunkbeds, there are no working lamps. The one lamp there, only had a cord-no plug on the end. Also the ceiling lamp in the room is missing a blade, it made a horrible rattling noise and looked precarious, so we were not able to use it. Not enough towels, we requested more but were not ever brought any.
