Coeur d'Alene Lake on kumpikaan ympärysmitta Huron eikä loistetta Tahoe. Great house

This house was fantastic, and during our stay we found it to be clean and very well stocked inside. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted to use, and there were many games/entertainment available for our kids. The decks had fantastic views and the parking for 4 cars was relatively easy to negotiate. There were towels available as well. Outside, there were many wasps, but there were wasp traps in place and we didn't have much of an issue. There were two docks that were in an abysmal state of repair, with exposed nails and broken boards, although we were able to safely dock our boat without any damage. There was a nice grassy area at the bottom of the hill where lawn chairs can be set up, as sitting on the dock wasn't really a good option. Overall would recommend this house, but wish that they would fix the dock.

Great family fun in an outstanding location. The home was beautiful but not very well cleaned.

Beautiful home with near the end of the road privacy. You can file four cars into the allotted spaces if you maneuver them around just right. We tried to get an early check-in on our arrival date, but were advised by the Vacasa Agency Rep that the residence was occupied and would not be available until after the current renters were out and the home was cleaned. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the home owner who advised us that we were the first renters of this season. We’re not sure if the Vacasa rep was confused or intended to deceive, but either way don’t expect an early check-in regardless of what the confirmation email tells you. The deck overlooks Kidd Island Bay and the views are outstanding. Perfect location to watch the annual fireworks show. However, the docks were filthy and unusable until we cleaned the goose droppings off the planks. The landscaping was disheveled and needing upkeep. The layout of the house was great with a large open concept kitchen/living area upstairs and a huge basement. However, once again cleanliness was a factor. We found spider webs and dead bugs throughout the house and it was evident from the hair on our socks after walking across the carpeted areas that there had been a dog in this house. This residence may have been cleaned at one time but it did not appear to have been done recently. We had to sweep the floors and clean the counters, which were dirty and dusty, before we could unpack and settle in. Well furnished with most everything we needed to prepare meals. Ample dishes, pots and pans, and also enough towels to accommodate our needs. The microwave worked intermittently, some of the shades were broken and would not roll up or down and the bar stools fell apart several times. None of the dead bolts worked and the sliding door in the basement would not lock, making it difficult to secure the residence. The couches in the living room were large and comfortable but the rug had a funny smell. The gas grill worked great but the decks were filthy; you could not lean up against the rails without coming away dirty. There were birds’ nests under one eave of the house where the droppings had culminated on the eave itself and onto the deck as well. Overall we worked through the cleanliness issues, brought in our own vacuum and cleaning supplies and left this residence far-cleaner than we received it. This is a lovely home and would show much better with some serious cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

This is a beautiful home in an easterly facing location with near the end of the road privacy. Parking is limited but you can file three or four cars into the allotted spaces if you maneuver them around just right. We tried to get an early check-in on our arrival date, but were advised by the Vacasa Agency rep that the residence was occupied and would not be available until after the current renters were out and the home was cleaned. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the home owner who advised us that we were the first renters of this season. We’re not sure if the Vacasa rep was confused or intended to deceive, but either way don’t expect an early check-in regardless of what the confirmation email tells you. The deck of this home overlooks Kidd Island Bay and the views are outstanding. You can see all the way to the CDA Resort as well as view the popular walking trails of tree-lined Tubbs Hill. This would be a perfect location to watch the annual fireworks show. However, the docks were filthy and unusable until several of us cleaned them of the goose droppings that were piled amass upon the wooden planks. The landscaping was also disheveled and didn’t appear to have been attended to at all. The layout of the house was perfect for our family get-together, with a large open concept kitchen/living area upstairs and a huge basement with a secondary master and bath downstairs. However, once again cleanliness was a factor. We found spider webs and dead bugs throughout the house and it was evident from the hair on our socks after walking across the carpeted areas that there had been a dog in this house. This residence may have been cleaned at one time but it did not appear to have been done so anytime in the recent past. We had to sweep and clean the floors and counters, which were dirty and dusty, before we could unpack and begin settling in. This home was well furnished with most everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals without having to eat out every night. There were ample dishes, pots and pans, and also enough towels to accommodate our needs. The microwave worked intermittently and the stove took a very long time to cook even the simplest meal. Some of the shades were also broken and would not roll up or down easily and the wooden cross braces on the bar stool chairs were loose and fell off several times. None of the dead bolts lined up and one of the sliding doors in the basement would not lock at all, making it difficult to secure this residence from the inside. The couches in the living room were large and comfortable but the rug had a funny smell. The gas grill worked great and we enjoyed many wonderful meals on the spacious oversized upper deck. But this too was filthy and although recently sprayed down with water, was still so dirty that you could not place your hands on the rails or lean up against them without coming away with dirt stains. There appeared to be three birds’ nests under one eave of the house where the droppings had culminated on the eave itself and onto the deck as well. Overall we worked through the cleanliness issues, brought in our own vacuum and cleaning supplies and left this residence far-cleaner than we received it. This is a lovely home and would show much better with some serious cleaning and ongoing maintenance to fix the items that need attention. At this point we on the border whether or not to rent here again. We understand that this is vacation home and has been and will continue to be used frequently, however, we also feel that it should have been inspected thoroughly for cleanliness, in the least, before being turned over to new renters.

This house is in a great location. The house is large and the pictures are accurate. As reflected in a few of the other reviews, the outside needs a lot of tlc and more seating. There's a ton of webs, dirt, dead bugs etc...They need to add bug zappers to the outside to help alleviate this issue. This is not average bugs that you have when on a lake or camping. The dock needs to be replaced. It is barely held together in spots and the plastic stripping is falling off the dock which makes it difficult and dangerous to get yourself back on to the dock as the stripping has many nails sticking out of it. I also agree with a previous review that the pots and pans need to be replaced and a few more added. The fire pit is not really a fire pit. The grass/weeds are so high around it, it is unsafe to use it. It is simply a few rocks around a circle of dirt. Lastly, the basement could use some more furniture. You can only seat 3 people with the current set up. All in all, this was a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our time there. For the price that is charged, it just needs to be kept up better.

Beautiful home right on the lake!

This home is spacious, comfortable, all rooms have beautiful views and it is right on the water. The master (and the 2nd master below) have on suites and floor to ceiling views of the lake. Kitchen is fantastic and the fire place is lovely once the sun goes down. 20 minutes from town so our teenagers could run in to get a burger or for easy trips to the movies, grocery store, etc. One note - there are ALOT of stairs, both to get from the car to the house, and then down to the lake. If you have physical challenges or very small children this would be something to consider. Overall, we loved this home, and will definitely be back!

Beautiful house and views

The house is amazing with great views. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for five adults and a one year old. The kitchen was great but could use some additional cooking items such as (better) pots and pans. There was seating for eight people at the kitchen table but not much seating on the deck. The stairs to the lake are steep and might be difficult for some people. The place was in a great location, private, and was super quiet. The biggest complaint I have though was the cleanliness. When we arrived the bedding was in a pile on the floor and had to be washed, there were dead bugs and cobwebs throughout the house, furniture was dusty, the carpet was not vacuumed, and the deck needed to be swept off. It seemed as if they forgot to clean the house after the previous guest or that no one had been there in a while. Overall the house was wonderful and we would probably stay there again if it was cleaned up. We would give it a higher rating if those issues were addressed.

Great family vacation get-away!

I stayed here with my husband and teenage kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, and the great room concept on the main floor allowed for games, meals, etc. all together. The house is spacious and beautiful, and on a quieter part of the lake. If you are looking for fun ON the lake, Harrison Boat Rentals was the perfect addition to our long weekend. Excellent customer service, nice boats and plenty of options.

Big House Lacking in Amenities

The location and size of the house are accurate. Items missing from the inventory included a .blender and hair dryer. Mirrors are not in all the bathrooms. Bed side night stands were limited. Black towels were new so when using them, black dye was all over the sink and shower area. This house is not for people who are physically challenged; too many stairs. Very limited outdoor furniture and none down by the lake. No wood for the fire pit. All in all, it felt like a business rental and not an owners personal property. The furniture is sparse and looks like it has been rented. No TV controls in the master bedroom. And most disturbing, no local channels on the flat screen down stairs....we were all prepared to watch NBA finals, but not available. The dock was covered in goose poo and in general disrepair. The walkway onto the deck needs repair immediately; it is sinking into the lake. We had a good time here, but we would not recommend it to friends.

Magnificent views and a great kitchen

We stayed at the lake house over memorial weekend, overall a great experience and the kids had lots of fun. The best view you could wake up to in the area, great kitchen and enough room for everyone. Harrison boats will deliver to your dock and camp fire for S'mores when you get back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice House but could have been better

The Lakefront house was impressive at first sight and had an outstanding view. The house was well staged by the rental company but there were several details that prevented this property getting an outstanding rating. The items are as follows: 1. There was no closet available in the master suite. Typically those sleeping in the master suite are paying for the rental and to have them have to use another room's closet was disappointing. The closet in master suite had no doorknobs so I assume it was meant to be locked off from use. You should reconsider this. 2. There were several dead insects in the living room so we weren't sure when it was cleaned before our arrival. Not a big deal, but if you'rte charging top dollar it would be expected that dead insects, and for that matter bird feces on the deck railing would have been dealt with. 3. The heating cooling thermostat appeared to reset to a default schedule so that it was difficult to maintain a desired temperature, but perhaps we didn't know how to operate the device properly as well. 4. You may want to have a repair person look at the gas line for the fireplace as the flame was rather small. Customers would expect a larger flame for that epic lakeside experience. Overall the property was excellent, but attention to some further details would have had us raving about it to friends.

Lakefront Good but Could be Better

This property has a great location and the view is wonderful. However, parking is limited and the house had some amenities that need better attention to detail. For the price charged the small things mattered.

Great location. Big house

Large living spaces and big kitchen. Loved having docks and rented boat from Harrsison boat rentals- they delivered and picked up boat and were awesome. The home has great potential but feels somewhat unfinished(missing bathroom mirrors, unfinished construction of outside columns). Beds were very comfortable. Early sun, afternoon shade. Needs better blinds in master as the morning sun blasts in for an early wake up call

Great time on the water!

We rented a boat and had a blast. The house is in a great place to enjoy fishing and boating. Don't expect everything you have in your house when you arrive. The morning sun shines bright in the master so don't expect to sleep-in. There is a lot of room and the space could handle 8-10 people easily.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful home, with plenty of space. It was very close to the resort, for how large the lake is. The view is stunning.

Our stay at 3672 So Westway Dr.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was very comfortable for our group of 6. It was well stocked and the view incredible. We enjoyed being out on the deck and using the barbecue. This location was very quiet as well.

Great get away

This home has everything from spectacular views, water and dock access, twenty minutes to town and plenty of room for everyone. We had eight adults and never once felt crowded. Well worth the price!

Amazing views, peaceful, luxurious

Excellent stay. The photos don't do justice to the serene and beautiful surroundings! Lovely place. Ample room. Gorgeous location, huge deck on two levels. It's on an inlet so you don't have much in terms of traffic from cars or boats. Beds were comfortable. Lots of cupboard space, clean towels, linens, condiments. Definitely worth the money. If you want an amazing stay, stay here! Also, it's only about a 15 or 20 mon scenic drive for groceries. The drive up to the property is very beautiful too. We can't say enough amazing things about it.

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!

We stayed at the house for a week and loved every minute of it. the photos are VERY representative of the house and surroundings. The house offers family gathering opportunities but also a chance for some private time if you wish. The supplies provided met or exceeded our expectations. As much as I wanted to, I could not get the wonderful appliances in the kitchen into my suitcase. I love to cook and having fully functional and sizable appliances was great. The firepit down near the dock was always how we ended our day. It was great. We rented a boat so having the dock space was wonderful. And finally, working with Vacasa was a breeze. We will be back.

Lewis Family Reunion

Beautiful house with a beautiful view with plenty of space but sadly for our family we missed not having a dining table where we could all sit and eat together and play games together. The drive in and out of the property to go into town wasn't terribly long but the windy road back up to highway 95 did get to some of the kids. If we were to do it again we would definitely plan it later in the summer when the water is warmer or the days are hotter to make the water more enjoyable. When we booked the place the stairs to the waterfront had not been built which was a concern but before we arrived we were very happy with the access down to the waterfront. We made good use of the fire pit but carrying deck chairs up down was a little extra work. Some log benches or camp chairs would have been a nice touch. In spite of a few inconveniences we did have a great time and very much enjoyed our stay. Just a side note: this is not a place for the disabled. You can get your work out going up and down a lot of stairs.

Quiet

Very quiet place. The greatest thing was the view's. Especially the master bedroom positioning. I will def. be renting again in the future.
