Although a modern house, it is really charming with nice decor and good facilities.

Although a modern house, it is really charming with nice decor and good facilities. We were there mid-October and the rooms kept warm even when the central heating was not on. Leyburn offers a lot of amenities such as interesting shops and excellent places to eat - all within walking distance. It is also well-placed to visit many attractions - we found both York and Beamish to be easy days out, but there are many places to visit which are nearer.

The cottage was lovely and clean and had very easy parking.

The cottage was lovely and clean and had very easy parking. The location was perfect, close enough to town but outside of the centre. Easy access to lots of beautiful and interesting places, especially Aysgarth Falls and the Three Peaks. The shops in the centre are full of lovely supplies, and there are plenty of gorgeous places to eat or just sit. We are considering booking this cottage again for next year as we didn't have time to fit in all we would have liked to do. Well done. Excellent.

lovely place

This property is immaculate and very well maintained. It is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The location is great, so close to the town centre. We will come back. The only one thing wrong was that we had problems with the keysafe when we arrived and again when we left but managed to get it open eventually. Otherwise it was perfect.

Lovely, warm, comfortable house and well equipped, we really enjoyed our stay. The town centre was a 2 minute walk with local shops including a deli, bakers, supermarket, various pubs, takeaways and eateries. Although the house is on the main road to Richmond we were not disturbed with excessive noise or traffic.

Great place to stay in a beautiful part of the country - close to Aysgarth Falls. Richmond and Bolton Castle. We found plenty to see and do with our grandchildren during the half term holiday.

Bank Side was a lovely, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and modern property.

Bank Side was a lovely, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and modern property. It was just right for three adults. Leyburn was a short walk away and was a lovely place with shops and pubs. I would definitely stay there again if we go back to the Dales.
