Lakeside Paradise sur Nolin Lac

Lakeside Paradise est une cabine spacieuse de villĂ©giature situĂ© sur le magnifique lac Nolin dans la rĂ©gion de Mammoth Cave du Kentucky. Nous sommes ouverts Ă  des locations de vacances toute l'annĂ©e. Cette cabine 1340 sq. Ft. A 3 Br., 2 salles de bains, une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, armoires en chĂȘne sur mesure, un salon avec canapĂ© et causeuse, tĂ©lĂ©viseur Ă  Ă©cran plat, un magnĂ©toscope / DVD combo, et le chauffage central et l'air. Il y a un grand porche couvert avec barbecue Ă  gaz et une table de pique-nique surplombant le magnifique lac Nolin. Facile terrain en pente avec une vue magnifique sur le lac. Tout ce que vous devez apporter des serviettes de la nourriture et le lac !!

Sur Nolin Lac vous ĂȘtes en mesure de profiter de la baignade, le ski et la pĂȘche. Il y a une rampe infĂ©rieure Ă  1/4 mile away et vous avez accĂšs au lac Ă  partir de la cabine. Autres activitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© comprennent des visites de grottes, spĂ©lĂ©o, musĂ©es, golf, randonnĂ©e, Ă©quitation, shopping et thĂ©Ăątre.

Nous sommes situés à seulement 8 miles de l'entrée nord du parc national de Mammoth Cave et à seulement 30/45 minutes loin des autres show-grottes et attractions de la région

My family had a wonderful time relaxing at this home. We loved the beautiful view from the porch and enjoyed some fishing by the lake. We also saw a lot of beautiful deer around the house in the mornings and evenings, which made it even more peaceful. We spent time exploring the shops in Cave City, and the two nights went by way too fast!The only minor challenge we had was figuring out where to take the trash, and the GPS initially led us to the house at the top of the hill. Thankfully, we were able to find the right place quickly by comparing it to the photos.Fair warning — if you’re out of shape like me, the walk back up from the lake will definitely get you winded, but it’s absolutely worth it. We even caught a large catfish in the short time we had to fish!I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Great lakeside stay!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The deck was our favorite feature - so relaxing to sit out and enjoy the lake view and we ate all of our meals out there and enjoyed the grill. Super quick response when we contacted the host about an issue with the grill - they brought a new propane tank within 5 minutes! Comfortable beds and AC worked great. Took about 45 minutes to get to Mammoth Cave as the ferry was not running during our stay, but it was a very reasonable drive. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools we needed and some spices as well! We also appreciated that 2 kayaks were available although we did not take them out. Worth noting that the bedroom off of the upstairs loft only has a curtain, no door. Overall we loved it and would stay here again!

Nice stay with basic amenities

We had a nice stay with extended family. The location and view were beautiful. We didn’t realize the two upstairs bedrooms were connected which ended up being ok for our group but may be a deal breaker for some. The general amenities throughout the house are pretty basic, but everything is functional. Overall a decent stay for a decent price.

Beautiful Lake & Mammoth Cave Trip

We loved staying at Paradise Lake House while we spent most of our time at Mammoth Cave - it takes about 35 minutes to drive on enjoyable roads. We were hoping to eat all our meals on the porch overlooking the lake but it was a bit too cool in April until our last day.

Great spot to get away!

Really nice spot to get away. The owners were very communicative which was great. Highly recommend. Only comment to make is GPS sends you to a different house. We had to do a little fishing in the dark but we found it. Worth it, though!

Lovely lakeview

Great location. Adorable house. Beautiful view! We saw deer every day, caught some fish, and saw a bald eagle fly over. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 pre teens. The house was the perfect size. Only negatives were that there was no table to eat at other than outside which would have been fine if it hadn’t been 90 and super humid :). Also, showered are small. A bigger framed person may have trouble maneuvering. Other than. That it was absolutely wonderful!

Great cottage on the lake!

Stayed at Paradise on the Lake for 3 days during fall break with our family of 5. Loved that everyone had their own bed and a separate bathroom for the kids. The property was very clean and nicely stocked with essentials. Location on the lake was perfect with a very conveniently located boat ramp! Will stay again!

Not bad, but not great

When we arrived we found our accommodation clean and secure. The location was beautiful! We appreciated there being some seasoned firewood for the fire pit too. However, there were some issues we found over the course of our three night stay. First, the master bedroom had only a full-size bed. Not ideal, doable, but not ideal. The mattress was as hard a a rock. My husband and I did not sleep well. The HVAC system’s thermostat was set to a desirable temperature. However, we found that though the system was running no air was moving through the vents in the master bedroom, bathroom or living room. We tried opening windows to ventilate (it was actually quite warm our first day with highs in the 80s) but most windows lacked screens letting in bugs or they were stuck. The shower in the master bath dripped constantly. The toilet at one point would not stop running; my husband had to fix it. There were zero outlets in the master bath, so all hair drying had to happen in the bathroom off the kitchen. However, the outlets in there were not GFCI outlets (definitely not up to any code and not safe to use if the shower had been recently used). No fans in either bathroom. I’m glad we’re not a tall family (we top out at 5’8”) because the ceilings all topped out at 6’. The counters were too low to comfortably eat at (4’), and the stools were VERY uncomfortable and too high for those counters. A small dinner table would’ve been better. There’s room for improvement!

We bought this house to use personally and when our girls started in all their activities we decided to rent it out for others to enjoy. My husband grew up across the street and we love to visit the area.

Lakeside Paradise is right on the lake and close to Mammoth Cave. There are lots to do in the area. Activities nearby include cave tours, spelunking, museums, golf, hiking, horseback riding, shopping, and live theatre.
