Hearnesbrook Barn est une spacieuse annexe de deux chambres dans le parc d'une maison géorgienne située dans le pittoresque village de plaisance d'Emsworth. L'annexe est l'ancien relais de poste et l'écurie et a été rénovée avec amour en 2019. Le village offre de nombreuses commodités et l'annexe n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied du port et des commerces de proximité.

Avec de belles promenades vers l'étang d'Emsworth Mill ou la magnifique campagne voisine, vous pouvez profiter d'un séjour tranquille, mais aussi profiter des restaurants locaux animés.

Quant aux environs, il y a de nombreuses attractions à une courte distance d'Emsworth.

La ville voisine de Portsmouth fait une journée passionnante, car il y a beaucoup à offrir: le chantier naval historique de Portsmouth, qui comprend le musée Mary Rose primé et le HMS Victory, des excursions en bateau autour du port de Portsmouth et des excursions jusqu'à la tour Spinnaker pour admirer la vue de plus de 20 miles.

La ville cathédrale de Chichester est également un endroit idéal à visiter, car c'est une ville animée remplie de délices culturels, de magasins indépendants et de plus de 100 endroits pour manger et boire.

Les magnifiques plages de sable de West Wittering, East Head et Hayling Island sont également facilement accessibles.

Les autres lieux d'intérêt incluent Stansted Park & House (2, 5 miles), Goodwood House, Racecourse & Motor Circuit (10 miles), Weald & Downland Open Air Museum (13, 6 miles), Fishbourne Roman Palace (7 miles), Bosham (5 miles) et Arundel (13. 5 miles).

L'annexe elle-même est joliment meublée avec une sensation de chalet.


La cuisine américaine est entièrement équipée et parfaite pour divertir vos amis et votre famille avec un coin repas situé dans un salon attenant, où il y a un poêle à bois pour les soirées d'hiver.

Il y a une chambre double spacieuse au premier étage avec un lit king size et une salle de bain en suite (douche dans la baignoire). Il y a une autre chambre double en bas avec sa salle de douche séparée. Les lits de cette chambre peuvent être constitués en lit king-size.

L'annexe possède son propre jardin privé avec local à vélos sécurisé.

Our second visit to this fabulous house

Our second visit to one of the best equipped, high quality, well located holiday rentals we have stayed in. The hosts are very welcoming and it is just a very lovely experience - it is so spacious, clean, comfortable and so central for Chichester and Emsworth itself. We would recommend without reservation.

An excellent stay

Stayed for a week. No complaints at all. Very comfortable and well equipped. Rosie and Simon were such welcoming hosts. Barn was warm and luxurious, we would have stayed for longer and will definitely be back.

Friendly, helpful hosts, great location.

This house was warm, clean and well equipped. I was greeted on arrival, in person, by a friendly, helpful host. The location was excellent, with shops, pubs and the seashore within a five-minute walk. I was pleased also to have been able to book on the phone with a local agent, as I've heard there have recently been a lot of scams on internet accommodation booking sites. Would definitely stay again.

Another fabulous stay!

This was our second trip to Hearnesbrook Barn and we can’t speak highly enough of the comfort, cleanliness and facilities here. The owners are very welcoming and provide some lovely homely touches in advance of your arrival. There are so many eateries within walking distance and some good walking routes on the doorstep. A perfect place for a peaceful retreat. We hope to be back again soon.

Most enjoyable stay for work

Our colleague thoroughly enjoyed his stay in this beautiful converted building and looks forward to returning. The owners who live on site are super helpful snd welcoming. The management team are very efficient too and resolved a shower issue in super quick time - thank you.

A beautiful and peaceful haven

We stayed for five nights. The accommodation was pristine and very comfortable. The location was perfect for Emsworth, visiting relatives and the days out we planned. Simon and Rosie were very kind and friendly. We knew they were there for help but they also gave us the space we were looking for. We would definitely come again.

An excellent well equipped property.

This is a premium property fitted out to a high standard. It has an induction cooker, a dish washer and a washing machine which we found very useful and a well equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer. There is a spacious master bedroom upstairs with a king size bed and an ensuite we found all very comfortable. There is a small twin bedroom downstairs with another bathroom and shower with underfloor heating. There is a private little patio at the back of the property with a table and chairs for outside dining we found useful on sunny days. They had a type 2 charging box outside for charging a PHEV or EV cars which we made good use with the help of the owners, at a standard home rate. Not very common feature but very useful. There is a very busy road through Emsworth, but the property is set back about 100ft from the road so noise is negligible. There is a garage, shop and pub only a few minutes walk, or about 10 minutes into town for a bigger choice. There is a very scenic walk around the slipper pond into town as well. The railway station is about 10 min walk with frequent trains into Chichester or Portsmouth etc. Overall the owners were friendly and helpful so we had a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely home from home

We have stayed here several times over the years and are always delighted to get the opportunity to return. We stay in many rental properties and this is hands down the best. The hosts Simon and Rosie are especially helpful and the flourishing sit out garden is a lovely bonus

Excellent - in every respect !

A first visit to Hearnesbrook Barn - everything about it is excellent and five star - the location, the owners, the fixtures and fittings, shower rooms, furniture, beds, kitchen appliances - everything has been thought of to ensure a very comfortable and luxurious stay. The two seated garden areas are quiet and peaceful. The photos on the website are very accurate - we would recommend Hearnesbrook Barn without reservation and plan to return next year.

The Barn is in a quiet location with pretty gardens. The charming hosts provided thoughtful touches. Walkable to Emsworth Village and the Mill Pond with a variety of good restaurants and pubs available. Handy for Chichester, Portsmouth and the South Downs.

Fantastic property

Absolutely beautiful new property. Spacious and has everything required for a holiday stay. The property is finished to a high standard, has a lovely private garden and driveway parking. Perfect winter break

Simon and Rosie are so welcoming and the barn is very well equipped and comfortable. We went birdwatching across Chichester Harbour and also visited Weald and Downland Museum, Bosham, Southsea and Goodwood all while knowing we could return to super comfy beds and a cosy barn. We had everything and more that we needed to cook meals and relax and would so like to return soon.
