There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room. Outside is a patio and lawned garden with built-in bench, furniture and views of the harbour. Through The Porthole is a fabulous base for a Falmouth holiday.

Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife.
