Lovely little cottage, but ideal for the two of us and our dogs . Great place for base has we travelled to Richmond and Scarborough. Would definitely recommend too others

A warm and comfortable cottage with all that is needed.

A warm and comfortable cottage with all that is needed. Situated in a pleasant village with good access to many places it is a good base for visiting the area. The owners are friendly and welcoming. There are no shops or eating places in the village so go prepared for that and you will not be disappointed. An enjoyable few days spent there in snow and freezing temperatures.

Perfect location to visit family who live in the village, and if you have a car, I'm sure it would

Perfect location to visit family who live in the village, and if you have a car, I'm sure it would be ideal. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Even left a welcome basket with everything I needed for a short stay. I hope to stay again soon!

We were made very welcome at Rosebank cottage by the Angela and Ollie and Skye the two Westies.

We were made very welcome at Rosebank cottage by the Angela and Ollie and Skye the two Westies. The cottage was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed. Bed very comfortable and an excellent shower. The welcome hamper was also very much appreciated. Would recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful time. Local bus rubs every two hours to Ricmond and from there you can get to other places of interest. Had a day at Beamish Living Museum. Need a car to get there. Really enjoyed our holiday, the weather was also excellent
