Une nouvelle location de vacances 5 Ă©toiles proposĂ©e par Asuncion Ridge Vineyards et Inn, la maison Somm repose sur un parc privĂ© de 107 acres au cƓur du pays viticole Paso Robles. Un vrai pays se sent avec de belles vues dans toutes les directions, mais Ă  10 minutes en voiture des restaurants et des salles de dĂ©gustation du centre-ville de Paso. Nous sommes Ă©galement Ă  quelques minutes seulement de plusieurs autres Ă©tablissements vinicoles locaux.

Cette nouvelle propriété de Asuncion Ridge sera le futur site de notre nouvelle cave, dégustation et vignoble de 30 acres.

La Somm House s'Ă©tend sur prĂšs de 4000 s. F. D'espace de vie et Ă©tait sur mesure avec des matĂ©riaux de qualitĂ© et de l'artisanat. La maison a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©corĂ©e de maniĂšre professionnelle et offre des planchers de bois franc, des plafonds hauts avec des moulures Ă  double couronne, une grande cuisine conçue pour le chef (ainsi qu'une cuisine extĂ©rieure), des chambres spacieuses avec des bains de tuiles et de pierres naturelles, un chauffage zonĂ© et de l'air pour nos quĂȘtes Le confort et les vues exceptionnelles sur les collines ondulĂ©es parsĂ©es de vieux chĂȘnes et de vignobles au-delĂ . Very nice and clean home. Exactly as advertised. We were worried when we drove up and saw another couple properties right next to ours but never saw or heard the occupants except for the very friendly dog and cat that visited daily! To be fully transparent you may want to let folks know there are multiple properties before they book. Really lovely home and very comfortable beds. The only thing that would have made it better is a hot tub outside-but the jacuzzi tub in the master was a very nice touch!

We loved the Sommelier House! The house is beautiful and so spacious. We loved the dog who visited and the cat. Beautiful views, easy to get to town and wineries. Plenty of fridge and pantry space. Loved the bedrooms and baths. The only thing that would have been better for us would have been access to the laundry but we were only there four nights and so it was fine. Instructions were great for the house. Definitely recommend. The pics they have do the property justice.

We loved the spacious layout of this house. The patio in back was spacious and offer wonderful views. The little outdoor kitty was entertaining as well.

Beautiful and quiet location with views for days!

It was a beautiful home with very comfortable beds, we had perfect weather, the neighbors were kind and views for days! We loved the roaming young dog and barn cats that were friendly. We would have liked more to the outdoor BBQ area, including a new properly working BBQ, all the patio chairs were rotted and sitting around in a pile, the front door didn’t feel secure as the threshold needs to be repaired badly, broken down living room furniture was not comfy seating and was the Refridgerator water/ice makers were not working along with the water filter spicket at the sink. It was a very spacious and esthetically beautiful experience for our sons Graduation from Cal Poly SLO and we were so thankful to have reserved this home long over 1 year in advance. It just needs a little TLC.

The best house ever! Can't say enough about this absolutely gorgeous house!

Been visiting Paso for about 15 years now & this is our new favorite! The few pictures included in the ad do not do the house justice!! Gorgeous house with lots of extras (warming drawer, 2 microwaves, 3 sinks with disposals including 1 outside, and that's just the kitchen) showers with temp settings, 3 of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom , with the 4th having a bathroom right next to it, 2 bedrooms on each side of the house allowing plenty of privacy when you need it, and much more! The location is perfect if you want to visit downtown and wineries. We visited all our favorites without driving more than a half hour or so (just 10 minutes to downtown). And let's not forget the check out process, or lack there of. The hosts don't want their guests to go down a check list of chores. Instead, just basic things like load the dishwasher if you have dirty dishes and take bulky discarded items out to the garbage can & leave the rest for the cleaning crew. That's about it for the check out "process". Of course, us old folks know our manners & cleaned up after ourselves, but appreciated not having to strip the beds & other usual chores. One more of the many things we appreciated, was that Philip was immediately available for the couple of times I had questions. If you're considering this place, better book now before they realize their pricing is quite a bit lower compared to similar houses and locations. Shhhh! My friends thanked me over and over for finding such a great house!

We go there every year

We have an annual Paso Wine Tasting week-end every May. For the last several years we have returned to the "Somm House" every year. The place is large, well appointed, comfortable, all on one floor, and easily accomodates 8 adults.

Weekend get away

We had a weekend get away for 4 couples and this home was perfect fit for our group! Loved the three bedrooms with their own ensuites and the outdoor space with the heated patio! Had a small issue getting the lock box opened for the key but Michael had someone over in two minutes to help us get it open. The dog on site is so cute and super friendly and will chase that ball for hours. We would book this home again.

This is a beautiful property. The house is tastefully decorated with a gourmet kitchen including outdoor barbecue. It is spacious and well laid out. It is centrally located within 15 to 25 minutes from dinning, restaurants and wineries. The surrounding area is breathtaking!

Superbowl weekend

Beautiful home, incredible views .. friendly cats and a dog who visited daily ;-) We had a great weekend .. House needs a little TLC .. one of the oven doors doesn't close ( we used the smaller oven); no ice in the ice maker so we had to go to the market; several clickers for fans lights, etc need batteries -- fire alarm started chirping in the middle of the night and we had to get the ladder and took a battery out of a clicker that did work to replace the fire alarm battery ..

Very impressed

First thing we noticed about the Sommelier House is how exquisitely designed and decorated it is. Also very clean and many attentions to small details like cotton swabs/balls in bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped and pantry has many spices either from hosts or previous guests. Owners Mike and Philip provided excellent details about our stay. Expansive views from the patio is spectacular. We definitely hope to return soon.

Concert & Wine tasting

Excellent venue. Exquisite home & vistas. Celebrated a family’s birthday & thoroughly enjoyed Paso Robles. People were kind & wonderful. Restaurants & wine visits were outstanding. Concert arena was superb.

Memorable stay at Somm house in Paso Robles

Stayed at the Sommelier house with a group of friends, in total 7. The house was above and beyond the pictures. Kitchen is very well stocked with plates, glasses etc. Rooms and entire home elegantly appointed. Host left us a lovely bottle of their wine and gave us a complimentary wine tasting at Asuncion Ridge vineyard, Rolling hills views are beautiful. Everything we wanted to do was within a 12 to 15 min drive. We would very much want to go back to this home at a future stay.

Excellent space for group and beautiful

We had 7 adults (3 couples) and the 4 bedrooms worked well. The space is ample for kitchen, dining, relaxing, & outdoor space. Fairly short drive into town for dinner, shopping, wineries, etc. Used Uber a few times and it worked well. There are a couple of outdoor cats on the property which made most of us cat lovers happy. Utilized the outdoor grill, though the starter wasn't working so we used a lighter torch. There is a grassy area below the grill, and short path/driveway where you can get your morning walk in. And goats to entertain. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware and wine glasses. During our visit, there was no ice maker/ice, external water dispenser, and the wine refrigerator was not working. If this is important to travelers, perhaps check with host first. Host was very quick to reply to text msgs. The master bedroom is huge with windows/views. There was a challenge figuring out the hot/cold temperature on the shower in the master as it has a dial with 70-100 degrees on it, though I could not see that without glasses on. Eventually figured it out. Like any place, there can be learning curves. We did not use the TVs at all, so no comment there. We did not see a washer or dryer. There was a lovely bottle of wine for us in the kitchen we we enjoyed. We were also comped a tasting at the Asuncion Ridge winery. Group agreed we would stay here again when in the area.

Excellence at the Somm House

We were delighted with the Somm house! Everything was exactly as advertised, plus more! Fabulous location, awesome accommodations and a wonderful kitchen! There are two beautiful and friendly cats who hang outside. Would recommend to all!

Perfect for Girls Get-away

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfy beds. Clean. Lovely views. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio using the heat lights when it got chilly and cuddling up with the two cats. Convenient to Paso Robles shopping, restaurants and wine tours. Also convenient to beaches (30-45 min away). We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here.

Beautiful house, quiet surroundings

there were 8 of us friends that stayed here for a weekend of wine tasting. The house was huge and it was terrific that there were 4 bathrooms to go with the 4 rooms. Quiet area but still close to market. Had complimentary wine tasting at the Asuncion Ridge Wine tasting room and this was terrific and the staff was very nice. Loved the outside area! There was plenty of room for all of us. Nice big kitchen but we did have a little problem with the larger stove. Despite a few little things that needed fixing, we all agreed that we would like to stay here again!
