You can relax in the hot tub from your private patio and lawn, complete with BBQ & outdoor seating; cosy up beside the fire, and sleep in one of 3 en-suite bedrooms. Recently refurbished, Cato's barn encapsulates both a modern feel without losing the essence of what makes a building like this so special. The ground floor has a fully kitted & brand new kitchen, perfect for cooking those family meals and there is a large dining room perfect for such entertaining adjoining it, where you can also sit on luxury sofas beside a woodburner fire and play board games. We also have Ultra High Speed Internet of upto 300mbps download speed so should you need to WFH for a period of time then you can.

On the first floor you can sleep in 3 super king-size ensuite bedrooms. Typically we leave 2 as super-king doubles and 1 room as a single twin, please provide plenty of notice if you want it changed. At the end of the floor you can find a snug with a view to die for where chapters of your book are just waiting to be read. Here there is also a king-size sofa bed, complete with superfast broadband and a large flat screen TV and complimentary Netflix to watch your favourite shows.

Should you go ahead and book, we will also provide you with an extensive info file on the local area. This would include some of our favourite restaurants in Herefordshire (there are many) and also ideas for activities such as canoeing, go karting, country walks, wine tasting, golf etc among other things.

Hosted by the James Family, they have spent the past year renovating this old barn in memory of a special someone who passed away young. Alex & Mark live in Bleak House which is closeby to Cato’s Barn, don’t be shy, we love to chat so do feel free to ask us questions if you see us around, but we ask you to be respectful of the fact that Bleak House is our home.

Sam & Jacob their sons, are also around during the days should you need any assistance.

Maximus, our chocolate lab is very friendly but if you are not a dog person, please just let us know. DO NOT FEED THE DOG!

If you fancy some delicious free-range eggs, there are some available 1.5 miles away. They are rich and delicious and worth every penny! (ask for code). We can also provide wine tastings of the estates wines, picnic baskets and even taxi services should you require... just ask!
