This gorgeous countryside haven offers the perfect balance between modern and traditional comfort!

This was the perfect venue for our needs: stylish and quirky, luxury yet homey - and with absolutely exceptional views all around. There is no better way to feel close to nature than to be completely surrounded by it, as this secluded and peaceful home is. Not forgetting the fully equipped Yoga studio, Joanne and Damian have proven that their attention to detail is second to none! Booking is so straightforward, and their friendly yet professional approach made for an overall superb experience!

As a provider of luxury activity retreats for women, Pretty Gritty adore the setting at St marks. The accommodation provides exactly the right blend of homeliness and boutique hotel touches. Nothing is left unthought of - the owners are so very friendly and attentive!

I hosted a Spring retreat at St Mark's Stays and it was just perfect. Damian and Joanne have thought of everything! It really made the retreat even more special and i will definitely be booking the venue again!

The perfect venue for a yoga retreat

St Marks Stays was a perfect venue for a weekend retreat. The communication and help from Jo & Damian was exemplary, the kitchen was well equipped and the yoga studio with all the props saved us lugging them from our studios at home. A really easy venue to navigate and house ten guests and two teachers for a weekend of nurture.

The accommodation is beautiful. Jo and Damian are brilliant custodians of this property and land. The love care and attention they have given it shines in every corner. I host my retreats here as I know they they will provide everything I and my guests need.

Perfect in every way

I think that this was the 5th or 6th time at St Mark's Stays that I book for my yoga and Wellness retreats. Joanne & Damien have put so much thought and love into it, that even my guests say it feels like home. The home, location, friendlyness, indoor and outdoor spaces, the thoughtful touches, the attention the detail. The list goes on and is also the reason why I have booked it for twice again for next year. There is absolutely nothing missing for your stay. and I would100% would recommend

Blissful

The hosts are so thoughtful and the venue just gets better every time we visit. The addition of yoga props was a winner and we had a fabulous spring retreat. Can’t wait to be back in October. Thank you Joanne and Damian for creating such as special place.

A beautiful, restful house in gorgeous surroundings

This house is perfect for a big group, every possible requirement is provided for and the setting is absolutely stunning. We had from age 9 to 83 and everyone loved the house, from the glorious views in the garden to the comfy sofas in the two sitting rooms. Everything a cook could need in the kitchen, super comfy beds, lovely bathrooms - it's just perfect. Damian and Joanne were super hosts, there when we needed them and with really helpful advice and local information.
