Wonderful house

Me and 8 girlfriends stayed here for 4 nights and everything was spot on! Great location 15 mins walk from the beach and other amenities a short drive away. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the hot tub was a brilliant addition. Bryony even left us a bottle of fizz and cake to enjoy 🥰

Good but few niggles

We enjoyed our holiday as a family but there were a few niggles as regards the property. As a place to stay it is very good and Bryony the owner is excellent at getting back to you and very helpful.

The host will take extra money from your card, once you have left stating you have allegedly broken something providing absolutely no evidence. House is dirty. Hot tub old. Leaking shower. Freezer ice machine not workingDisgusted

Easy to find if you use the Google maps pin on VRBO rather than the post code for Treburrick. Impressive ,well equiped kitchen and nice wide hall for coats, bags, body boards etc. Much appreciated welcoming tray with tea,hot chocolate ,flavour straws,coffee sachets, a bottle of Prosecco and a karge cake, which we used for pudding the first night.Lots of storage for dried goods too. Electric showers worked well, but if two things needed hot water, the geavity showers ran cold very quickly. Comfy beds, but some ensuite bathrooms are VERY small indeed. It was good to have an actual bath for the younger members of our large family group - 11 of us, aged from 1 to 73. Reasonable garden,fenced to run around in and the hot tub was a big hit. There were loads of toys too that were popular. The beach is more like a 20 minute walk, down hill along quite dangerous roads - twisty and no pavement, so we took cars especially with little ones in tow, plus beach equipment with us. Close to bigger beaches, plenty of things to do for all ages within a 30-45 minute drive. Can heartily recommend Discovering 42 and Hidden Valley Puzzle Park for anyone over 6. Improvements? Only very minor ones. The rubbish collection is on Wednesday at about 8am. They only emptied one of the small bins. This is not ideal, as you "inherit" at least one full bin, and they fill up quickly,as we couldn't find any recycling bin. Perhaps bigger bins or arranging a Friday collection,eather than relying on the council.

Such a lovely house

We were a big family and friends group and had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It was spotless on arrival with a fantastic kitchen which was so well stocked with all the utensils, crockery and glasses we needed. Every room had an en suite which was fab. The hot tub a real treat and plenty of parking. We walked to the nearby coves and beaches and drove to others further afield. Cannot recommend highly enough for a big group.
