Wonderful Stay

Had a wonderful stay at Sunny Dale Cottage the property is beautifully presented and looks exactly like the photos. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and in a fantastic location just behind the main street in Thornton Le Dale and within easy reach of Dalby Forest, Scarborough, Eden Camp and Flamingo Land all of which we visited during our stay. Easy check in and check out, communication and booking process couldnt have been easier. Would definitely stay again

The property was lovely and clean and ideally located bang in the middle of Thornton-le-Dale. Little niggles like the teapot being put away not clean and slightly cracked and the bathroom mirror cabinet door was loose at the top so we didn’t use either item. We did struggle to get a breeze in the cottage to keep cool so would recommend bringing fans to use. I would definitely recommend the cottage for a holiday let and would have no problems renting this cottage again. The hosts were great too. Really friendly and responsive.

Great Accommodation and Location

Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Couple of things, better mirrors in bedrooms would be useful. Washing up bowl needed as sink is very big and needs a lot of water. Cleaning under cushions on sofa needed. Location is great and surrounding countryside and drive to coast is fantastic. Very pretty village and we shall return.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sunny Dale Cottage! The place was immaculate, with every detail feeling truly high-end and everything working flawlessly.The location couldn't be better—just a peaceful two-minute stroll into a stunning little village. It proved to be the ideal base for accessing the breathtaking Dalby Forest, where we ended up spending both of our days exploring.Our hosts were fantastic from start to finish, and their communication was top-notch throughout. We loved our stay so much that we are already hoping to book again soon. We would thoroughly recommend Sunny Dale Cottage to anyone!
