Relaxing 3 Night Break - Wonderful Location

Stayed in the Bothy & Tree House, enjoyed the Sauna. Would strongly recommend, Clifden was a 5 min drive with excellent restaurants and shopping. Great for a short break! Particularly loved the YouTube video on how to light the fire!

The dome experience was serene and wild all at the same time.

The property and the dome itself were creative and well kept and so in tune with nature. We wanted for nothing and enjoyed all the amenities including the sauna perched over the water. I loved seeing the trees swaying in the wind and the rain falling on the dome. The warm fire and cozy bed were ideal.

We had the most wonderful and calming stay at Fernwood. A place to restore and rest within nature

A beautiful stay in the Dome for three nights with my daughter. An experience to remember for a lifetime, from a relaxing sauna overlooking the lake, to beautiful walk through a living, breathing ancient wood, to a peaceful night sleep listening to the wind blowing and the birds chattering. Will be recommending it to all everyone looking for a weekend away in nature.

The dome is beautiful inside and out. It is very relaxing and comfortable. The setting around it is lovely. There are also plenty of things to do nearby. Clifden is a lovely little town.

Fernwood has a very harmonious and soothing atmosphere. With its small forest, unique houses, lovely sauna, and a lake suitable for swimming, you can simply arrive and start your holiday. It is a truly inviting place where you can feel completely at ease—a spot that never grows dull but instead leaves you wanting more getaways.

The most magical place I have visited.

I loved how peaceful and quiet it was, the perfect escape of our busy lives. The accommodation provided all the necessities and it was incredibly clean. The Fernwood area is amazing for a morning and evening walk. Waking up in the morning with the view of nature couldn't be more perfect.

Wonderful, relaxing stay in a unique beautiful setting

Wonderful setting in the middle of the woods, yet so close to terrific hiking, sites, and Clifden with its delicious restaurants and interesting shopping. Fernwood has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and feel luxurious.

Something magical to discover down every path — landscape, birds, architecture, history

We stayed at both the Stilt House and the Dome House. Very different spaces but both peaceful and private. The sauna experience is fabulous. We were fortunate to share the Gather dinner, our last night. Anne and Simon have created a unique place. Clearly so much thought has gone into every detail.

Very nice and relaxing.

The accommodation was very nice and had everything you would need. Gorgeous stove fire. How quiet it is, you can walk to town for dinner and drinks. Not a far walk from car parking. Anne's quick help over email when booking. Sauna and plunge is so nice! On the trail we got covered in ticks even though we just walked the stone trail. Didn't see the bug spray until after so maybe leave that out with a note that it's nessecary.
