Change of scenery:

Unlike the traditional Bayswater avenue on which you’ll find it, Sussex Gardens III is quietly contemporary. Entering on the lower ground floor, the second bathroom is on the left, and there’s a pair of single beds in the third bedroom, just opposite. A hallway on the right leads to the second bedroom (with a bunk bed) and then you’ll come to the bathroom. The master bedroom, next door, has neutral colours and a contrastingly vintage writing desk. Follow the hallway to the end and you’ll find the sitting room. Flush-fitted shelves are filled with books, and just as orderly looking are the white walls and facing pair of cream sofas. Across the wooden flooring, there are clean lines and grey-and-white cabinets in the kitchen, and six can sit at the round wooden dining table, framed by sloping skylights and colourful art.

Home Truths:

- This home is on the lower ground floor and there are stairs to reach the entrance. There is a sofabed in the second bedroom which can be set up for one. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared instead of the upper bunk bed. This home accepts babies and children, but does not accept toddlers. The bunk bed in the second bedroom will comfortably sleep one adult on the bottom single, and has room for a further one adult on the top bunk. This home has a communal heating system which is set by the building management company. This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between june and september, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. Since the onefinestay photoshoot, the tv in the sitting room has been removed.
