Town: Bodedern is a tranquil and pleasant village in the centre of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. It has a welcome tavern, a shop, and a Post Office as well as other conveniences. The entire island is brimming with interesting sights and activities, all of which are within a 30-minute drive. The nearby towns of Holyhead and Trearddur Bay, the former boasting attractive shops and taverns as well as the magnificent Breakwater with its County Park, are also close by. Trearddur Bay, however, is surrounded by beautiful craggy shoreline, sandy beaches and coves, as well as the charming South Stack Lighthouse. Visit the beautiful mediaeval town of Beaumaris, with its dramatic castle and a variety of exciting things, on the opposite end of the island. Llanfair PG, the world's second-longest one-word place name, is also close by. For outdoor aficionados, head to mainland Wales and spend a day in Llandudno, Conwy, Caernarfon, or even the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
