Your mix of positive comments and one minor gripe are entirely inconstant with your grossly unfair rating, our first on VRBO I might add. The location of the property is made very clear in the listing details, as is the proximity of pubs and restaurants. We do not pretend to be an easy walk from the pub (a mile down the hill) though most guests chose to drive and not one guest has ever complained about this. We find it highly unfortunate that you chose to rate your overall experience down because you failed to read details that were evidently important to you. As it was, you arrived by car and you were able to come and go each day as you pleased and were not impeded. If you had told us this was important to you we would have offered to drive you to the pub and back - thats the kind of hosts we are - but you did not even mention this during your stay. Our Cowshed enjoys a consistent rating of 100% 5 stars over 100 reviews (including location) on another booking platform and we receive nothing but positive feedback. Your rating sets the expectation of potential future guests, gives a false impression and will undoubtedly negatively impact our business. I shall appeal to VRBO to remove your review/rating on the basis that it places such a massive bias on a detail that is not an issue and which you failed to read when you booked and is not a true reflection of the high quality experience provide for all our guests - yourselves included. I was more than fair in my review of you, perhaps too generous, and on hindsight I should have scored you lower than four for communication as you did not respond to any of my messages on VRBO.
