Beachside is probably the closest house to the beach on the north Cornish coast! Nestled into a romantic cove in Portreath with the accommodation being both flexible and generous, and is presented to a luxuriously high standard.
Sleep in luxurious beds with only the sound of the ocean to soothe you all into blissful rest.
Situated in an ideal spot to explore everything beautiful Cornwall has to offer, with the main A30 road less than three miles away, enabling easy access within a 45 minute drive at most.
The South West Coast path runs straight through our private car park, with access to truly incredible seafront walks in either direction.

Fabulous front of beach property with everything you need for a great holiday. . A proper home from home in a great location views to die for and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Our dog loved it. !!.

This was a 5 star experience The location above the beach was perfect for taking the dogs out and the views were spectacular! We saw seals every day swimming in the bay The bedrooms were lovely especially the shower in the main bedroom! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs and brilliant kitchen equipment.Thank you for a lovely holiday

Spectacular Beachside Stay

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the Smugglers Cove - Beachside Cottage. The house is clean and very well appointed, and the games room was a hit with our kids! The location really makes you appreciate the wonders of nature from the waves crashing at your doorstep to the lush coastal path enveloping the property. David was a pleasure to deal with, and went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend the Smugglers Cove Cottages, and look forward to one day returning with my family.

Christmas Break

An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . The best part is you ate literally on the beach and every morning we took the dogs for a walk and in the evening we took hot chocolates and watched the waves. The most amazing Christmas and beautiful property, highly recommend.

Portreath done in style

Amazing location, fabulous patio, great views. Kitchen very well equipped. Lots of steps as on a hill so may be a struggle if you had mobility problems. Very easy check in process. Lovely bathrooms, plenty of towels. It was very hot when we were there and would of appreciated fans in the bedrooms. Overall a fantastic holiday.

Perfect house in a perfect location

This is a very well designed luxury house with all possible comforts, amenities and extras provided. I cannot think of a better location for watersports requiring waves, beach walks, swimming and simply sitting and watching the waves. The outdoor hot shower was a real luxury after spending time in the water. For dog owners (during hours in the summer when dogs are not allowed on the beach) and walkers in general the coastal path can be picked up right by the top door - we attempted walks to St Ives (going west) and to St Agnes (going east) - this is a protected AONB which is well deserved both for the vegetation and the views. The owner was very accommodating to our requests, provided a lovely welcome pack with local produce and the caretaker fixed any (very minor) issues very quickly. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a mid-stay clean provided which was very much appreciated. We would definitely like to return here in years to come!

Lovely place to unwind!

This was an amazing house to spend 2 weeks and to have friends visit…lots of space and incredible views. Beautifully situated for beach walks and the coastal path and on rainy days to just watch the ocean. Thank you David for a lovely holiday!

The most wonderful Seaside Cottage.

After having to postpone due to Covid-19 we finally got to Seaside Cottage and we were not disappointed. It is the most beautiful location I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. The beach access was excellent and we went in every day with the wetsuits kindly provided . We would be back in a heartbeat.

Amazing holiday home

We had a fantastic time staying at the Beach Side property, the house has a great lay-out, plenty of space for all and is literally right on the beach with an amazing patio. We loved the ease of coming and going from the beach throughout the day without having to pack and unpack. Finally, David was excellent to work with, very responsive and accommodating, we would highly recommend the property!

Wonderful family holiday directly by the sea

We were a family group of 7 adults staying at this beautiful house. We have been mesmerized watching the sea as it changes each day . A wonderful location for body boarding too as we could literally be in the sea and by under the warm outside shower in minutes ! The house itself is beautiful and immaculately presented , with excellent beds and bed linen, as well as being lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea . Thank you David for meeting and welcoming us so warmly with a some local foody gifts and cream tea , perfect to arrive to. We have loved our stay and we hope to be able to return very soon.

Absolutely amazing house with outstanding views

We had such a wonderful stay in Beachside! The house is beautiful and has brilliant views of the sea and the beach. You couldn't be closer. The house was incredible, it really had the wow factor!

Such an amazing setting to see in the new year, the house couldn’t be situated better, we walked on the beach everyday with it being only seconds away. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for more. So nice to find a holiday accommodation that has all the comforts of home. Stunning Luxury Beach-Side Escape

Our stay at the Beach-Side Cottage was amazing! The property is a spacious 4-bedroom property, with a spectacular outside area / patio, providing stunning views across the beach and coastline. The property is very well equipped and finished to a very high standard. It has the look and feel of a lovely home (rather than just another rental!). Luxury Accomodation. Right on the Beach!

We stayed in early November, so the weather was predictably wet and blowy. The beachside location was excellent for watching the surfers enjoy the waves under these conditions. We were met by David who showed us round the property and was only a phone call or text away the rest of the week. The house is amazing, and is exactly like the photos show. Although the weather didn't allow us to spend much time on the extensive patio, the views of the beach from the windows are first class and you can see all of it clearly. For strolling along it, you just leave the property and you are virtually on the beach. The other direction leads up the hill to the Coastal Path. Despite this easy access the house is very private. Once you have driven the narrow approach road there is easy, spacious parking. The house is luxuriously fitted out with extremely comfortable sofas and chairs in the sitting room. Lots of space thoughout and a very well equiped kitchen to feed large groups. I lost count of the number and variety of ovens and hobs! Bathrooms are superb with the best shower I've ever seen in the main bedroom ensuite. Beds are large and very comfortable - excellent linen. All in all, if you want a relaxing and/or active holiday in very comfortable, well managed accommodation, with direct access to an unspoiled, beautiful beach this property can be recommended. We had a very restorative week here and hope to be back next year.

Fantastic beachside house in Portreath

This property exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking position and layout. The fixtures and fittings were first class and for a family break it was great that you can forget the car once you are there as the village has all the amenities you need. The beach is literally outside the back gate and is a perfect surfing beach and is ideal for the kids to play on when the tide is out. Great walks and cycle trails start from the village. Definitely a holiday home you will want to return to. The owner and the property manager were always happy to help with advice or any issues. Overall excellent value for money.
