Summary:
Villa Vecchio is a super-stylish luxury Tuscany villa on a wine estate in the heart Chianti region. Originally a defensive look out point, this ancient Tuscany villa has been brought bang up to date with all the modern technology and creature comforts you could wish for, whilst retaining a host of historic features including vaulted ceilings, archways and stone walls. Guests will be well looked after. A complimentary daily buffet breakfast is provided along with maid service for 5 hours per day.

The Space:
Inside, this luxury Tuscany villa measures 900 square metres.

On the ground floor is a sitting room with two sofas, armchairs and TV and focal fireplace. There is also a dining room seating 12 and a mobile bar area, perfect for entertaining. A professional kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need including a large 5 burner gas stove and induction hob. There is an additional table here seating 6. Also on this floor is a WC with toilet and washbasin.

Downstairs at this luxury Tuscany villa, there is a wine cellar with selection of wines which guests are able to purchase. There is also a gym on this floor with weights, yoga equipment, bike and rowing machine as well as a wellness area with Turkish bath. There is a bathroom on this floor with both a shower and a bath tub and a separate laundry room. Please note that guests are asked not to use the laundry room. Instead, the housekeeper will do all the laundry on your behalf.

On the first floor of this luxury Tuscany villa (accessed either via stairs or by an elevator) there is an additional sitting area with comfortable sofas and chairs as well as five stylish and spacious bedrooms. All bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair and all boast ensuite bathrooms with showers.

Outside, doors from the kitchen of this luxury Tuscany villa lead to a lovely terrace area fully equipped with BBQ, pizza oven and al fresco dining area. There is a second terrace under the shade of a gazebo on the other side of the house, also equipped with outdoor table and chairs.

A large salt water swimming pool (12m x 5m and with a depth ranging from 1.4 to 2 metres) provides the perfect space to relax during the day and is surrounded with sun beds and parasols. It is open from the beginning of May to the end of September each year. It can be heated if required for an additional charge of 100 euros per day.

Those with children will appreciate the outdoor play equipment adjacent to this area including swings, slide, table tennis table trampoline.

Please note that rates for this luxury Tuscany villa exclude a local tourist tax of 2 euros per person per day. Please note that an additional charge of 1000 euros is also payable on arrival to cover the cost of any extras during your stay. Any unused funds will be returned at the end of your holiday. Bath towels are changed daily and pool towels changed twice weekly.

A delicious continental buffet breakfast is served daily and is complimentary. This includes a selection of cold meats and cheeses, vegetables, salad, fresh fruit, chia pudding, porridge, yoghurt, home made granola, pastries, smoothies, juices and more. A light welcome dinner is also provided on the first Monday of your stay. Guests will enjoy a complimentary wine tasting at a nearby wine cellar during their stay too.

The Neighborhood:
This luxury Tuscany villa is just 1.5 km from Radda in Chianti where you will find a good selection of shops, restaurants, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy. A larger supermarket is 3 km away whilst the nearest train station is in Montevarchi 20 km away.

Florence and Siena can both be reached within an hour. There are numerous Renaissance villages and castles all within a radius of 20 km whilst all the most important Tuscan and Umbrian towns are within an easy 2-3 hour drive. These include Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, Arezzo, Cortona, Urbino, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Pienza, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Vinci and Certaldo.

Other Things to Note:
Guests staying at this luxury Tuscany villa will be treated to a complimentary welcome cold aperitivo on arrival as well as a daily buffet breakfast service. The housekeeper will also ensure that you can put your feet up during your stay. She will provide a daily cleaning and laundry service and will ensure that linen and pool towels are changed twice a week whilst bath towels can be changed daily if guests wish. You will also be treated to a complimentary wine tasting in the wine cellar on the Wednesday of your stay and on the Monday of your stay, you will be treated to a complimentary dinner. Additional services such as babysitting, chef services, transfers or tours can also be arranged for an additional charge.
