Forest Trail Lodge is the perfect place to make yourself at home. Stylish and contemporary, this self-catering Lodge has a spacious lounge with a smart TV and a wood burning stove where you can toast a dram on cosy nights in. Situated in the village of Nethybridge.

The lodge benefits from an open plan kitchen/dining room and well equipped kitchen. French doors open out from the lounge and dining room onto a sunny patio with BBQ and large enclosed garden from where you can watch the local wildlife. A private gate provides access to the woods at the rear.

Great lodge and great location.

We had a wonderful holiday in Nethy Bridge. The lodge was perfect and it's location great for walking and exploring that part of Scotland. We would definitely recommend it and are looking at maybe rebooking sometime.

Our favourite place to stay!

Location is amazing! Beautiful walks, fantastic garden, the house is well equipped feels like home. Don’t want to make it sound too good or it will get booked up! Been coming to nethy bridge go over 25 years and this is perfection for our family.

Forest Trail Lodge

Forest Trail Lodge is a well equipped and comfortable lodge. All rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The area is fantastic with a great cafe in Nethy Bridge for drinks and food. The forest is on the doorstep which is fantastic for walking whether with a dog or not. A lovely lodge to come back to after a cold walk. Cosy and with plenty hot water for showers etc. A fab venue for a family get together.

Our stay at Bracken house was amazing it was bright clean and really comfortable and our grandson loved the hot tub the place was fully equipped and we needed for nothing. Truly worth the visit

Excellent stay

A lovely house in a fabulous location. Very well equipped kitchen annd plenty of towels etc Ideal for walking and exploring the local area. House was nice and warm with plenty of hot water. Garden secure for children and dogs. So much to see and do in the area. Will definitely be back!

Stunning lodge in the perfect location

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this beautiful lodge, right on the edge of the forrest in Nethy Bridge. Great communication and support from Great North Lodges and hope to book again soon.

Family reunion

Very warm, comfortable and spacious lodge in the heart of Speyside. Close to woods and walks and lots of nature. Excellent local shops and hotel nearby. Great base for exploring the Cairngorms and Moray coast.

Relaxing Stay at Forest Trail Lodge

A perfect holiday house in a beautiful location. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed relaxing in the garden. It was ideal for us with the kids and the dogs lots of space and big dining table for us all. We loved exploring the woods on our doorstep!

Lovely forest cottage

Beautiful comfortable cottage, very spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. A super location right next to the forest where we saw deer and red squirrels. A lovely base for touring Speyside, away from the bustle of Aviemore.

Nethy Bridge visit

Great house with a superb enclosed garden for the dog, great surprise of a pool table in the garage. Location is perfect for peaceful walks straight from the door and back garden with access to the forest through the garden gate. Lovely rooms with everything you need. Only thing I would comment on is the rubbish bins were full when we arrived, apart from that everything was perfect and we had a great time with excellent weather which helps immensely- thank you.

This was our 3rd stay at Forest Trail Lodge, great house and location. Just out the house and into the forest. Very peaceful location, great garden if you have dogs or children, fully enclosed. Hopefully be back to visit in the future

Amazing Forest Lodge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Forest Trail Lodge. Our three dogs loved the garden, which is fully secure and the back gate leads straight into the woods for endless forest walks. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a smashing stay. The Wifi signal was good and this enabled us to watch netflix in bed on our tablet - very lazy!!!! The local shop and farm shop/ butchers are well stocked. With Aviemore and Grantown-On-Spey not far for other supplies. We will definitely return for another stay at Forest Trail Lodge because we love Nethy Bridge and surrounding area with lots to do for the whole family. We always return relaxed and recharged. Forest trail lodge

Forest trail lodge is a lovely property in an amazing location. It is spacious and light with everything that you could need for your holiday. Nethybrdge is a beautiful and quiet location but within easy access of all amenities. The weather definitely was on our side and we were able to make use of the great outside space. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Spacious House

Forest Trail Lodge is a comfortable, spacious and well equipped house in an excellent location on the edge of the forest. Nethy Bridge is a pretty, friendly village with lots of excellent walks and trails just minutes from the house. A lovely peaceful house and area to return to after busy days out.

Fantastic stay in Nethy Bridge

From the minute we walked through the door, we knew that Forest Trail Lodge was a special place. The layout of the house is perfect with access into the forest from the gate in the garden. Beds very comfy and the house has everything you could want for a week's holiday. We were blessed with beautiful weather all week and had a fantastic time. The garden was perfect to relax in and is totally enclosed so safe for kids and pets. We would love to return but understand that the house has recently been sold. If the new owners decide to rent out Forest Trail Lodge as a holiday home we will certainly be back.

I rented Forest Trail Lodge for my husbands birthday and we were not disappointed. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lodge is very spacious and has a nice homely feel to it. The huge garden with the forest at the back was wonderful for the children. We will definitely try and return in future.

Fabulous place to stay

Forest trail lodge is a delightful house. Perfect setting next to the woods, the house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need. It’s a very social house with social spaces in the living and dining areas. Spotlessly clean with large rooms. The Great North Lodges app is very useful and helpful with the information provided and discounts for eating out. The house is expensive to rent but I guess that’s just current costs. Will definitely return.

Fantastic week!

Our second visit to Forest Trail Lodge, we were so lucky with the weather this time round. We were able to see the house at its best and made the most of the trails from the front door. The house has a lovely flow, the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The garden is enclosed which kept our little dog safe. A lovely selection of welcome gifts was provided, thank you. We would highly recommend the Nethy Bridge cafe and the Balliefurth Farm shop/ butchers (a short walk away) Thank you, we can't wait to return!

Exceeded expectations!

The house was perfect. Location was ideal for forest walks with the dogs and a fully enclosed garden meant we could be more at ease. The house was big and spacious but we found we spent much time sitting around the kitchen island planning our day or grabbing a quick lunch. A separate living room was great to relax in after a busy day and I’m sure will be cosy in winter. Nethy Bridge is a beautiful village and I can highly recommend the local cafe and farm shop! We had a great week in a fabulous house.

A spacious and well presented house in a great location

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week at Forest Trail Lodge. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed, both in the kitchen and in the other parts of the property. Although the house was cool when we arrived, the heating was very effective once we tuned the thermostats and there was always plenty of hot water. We particularly appreciated the access to the garage which enabled us to store our bikes securely. Having the log burner in the lounge was lovely as it meant that we could warm the house up quickly when we arrived and also gave us cosy room for the evenings. We loved being able to walk and cycle straight into the forest and welcomed being within walking distance of the local shops in Nethy Bridge. The only improvements that we would have appreciated would be some matches to light the log burner and a few more logs. We would definitely return to this Property
